One of four official bottlings from the Craigellachie distillery released in 2014. A stunning 23 year old with plenty of bold fruit, complex herbs, refined oak and a touch of sulphur.

Nose: Lemon, orange and pineapple up front, backed up by warm oak and golden barley. Oak notes become increasingly toasty as it goes on.

Palate: Salted caramel, creamy vanilla and more orange zest. Cinnamon, nutmeg and a subtle whiff of sulphur give it plenty of depth.

Finish: The sulphur lasts, but it's not overpowering - the sweet spices bring balance to the long finish.

It's one of our favourite full bodied New Zealand Syrahs in store and is a single vineyard wine which will reward lovers of spicy dry reds with its great cellarability as well as its deliciously plump fruit forward style right now. 

Age it for 10 years to see where the fun really starts with complex deeply flavoursome Syrah.  

As a 4 year old, little wood is evident in its flavour. Instead it shows its cereal roots and a foxy quality from its wild yeast strain. This gives Jim Beam White a uniqueflavour not apparent in other Beam products. The colour is a nice, balanced amber, more red than orange. The nose is slightly perfumy. Hand harvested and whole bunch pressed into old oak and fermented with indigenous yeast before spending 14 months in barrel on the lees. This is round and unctuous as befitting similarly composed wines from the Rhone Valley with aromas and flavours of quince, jasmine peach and citrus. Will pair well with Asian cuisine. 

Outstanding dry, spicy and super concentrated flavoursome Gewurtztraminer from Zephyr Wines in Marlborough whose winemaker Ben Glover is a great champion of this intensely aromatic white grape and the wines it makes.

Balance is king in this great Gewurz' - a must try.  

The evocatively named Central Otago winery, Wooing Tree, is as famous for its pink wines as for its full bodied Pinot Noirs. Tickled Pink is a light rosé, made 100% from Pinot Noir as a sweet wine. Flavours of strawberries, red berries and honey are well balanced by refreshing acidity, which adds length and zestiness to this wine. It's a great match with soft creamy cheese as well as with your favourite pudding.

A cheeky little Chardonnay from Burgundy with a little bit more oomph and oak. Great value drinking.

An exceptional single malt whisky with extra peated flavour that delivers
