A blend of Oud Beersel’s Kriek and New Belgium’s Golden Sour.

Winner of a gold medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival, Transatlantique Kriek begins its life in oaken vessels of Gert Christiaens’ Oud Beersel, a 130-year-old lambic brewery in the Zenne valley of Belgium – home of authentic Lambic beer. After time spent aging in wood, Oud Beersel’s lambic is blended with tart Polish cherries and shipped across the Atlantic to New Belgium. In concert with Oud Beersel’s cherry lambic, or Kriek, we blend an equal portion of golden sour ale matured for 1 – 3 years in our oak vessels called foeders. 50% Sour Golden Ale blended with 50% Traditional Cherry Lambic Ale leads to an intense cherry nose, a sour flash across the palate and a refreshing, mouthwatering finish

Unfiltered Vicaris Generaal is a red-brown warm-fermented beer with a beautiful tinted head, unfiltered in both bottle and keg. Generaal will mature in the bottle and is for the experienced beer lover. Generaal has a marked bitterness obtained by using roasted malt and hops. It is not a sweet beer.

Gentse Strop is a top-fermented blond Belgian Special Ale, re-fermented in the bottle (6.9% alc vol), to give a deliciously hoppy beer with a subtle fruity aroma.

Filou is a strong blonde beer that is re-fermented in the bottle. Filou is brewed with Belgian and Czech aromatic hops. Therefore this blonde beer offers mild fruitiness and subtle hop bitterness. Filou can be a real rascal, but always without any bad intentions. A friendly beer for everyone

Clear golden-yellow, fizzy with bubbly white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and ripe fruits (peach, banana). Sweet flavour, very alcoholic with notes of caramel and candy, ripe fruits, yeasts, light citrusy bitterness. Brigand is blond coloured and has quite a full and creamy head. This glorious craft beer has a beautiful body and a wonderful aroma.

9% ABV

The beer has a mild, slightly bitter, ‘hoppy’ flavour and is easy and refreshing to drink. The beer is brewed using only high-grade, certified-organic barley malt, rice and hops. The rice used also has Fairtrade certification. Gluten-free (less than 10ppm).

Commercial description.

Our brewmaster, Jef Versele, crafted this exclusive Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition as a tribute to his grandfather Jozef Van Steenberge and the 230th birthday of the brewery. His inspiration came from his numerous trips to the United States and his deepest respect for the craft beer culture. This exclusive Gulden Draak combines the technology and the craftsmanship of the traditional brewing process. By letting the beer mature on whiskey barrels it gives it a distinctive and gentle finish that you have never tasted before.

Martha Guilty Pleasure (rouge/red)

Brewed with fresh sour cherry’s this high fermentation ale has a ruby red color and a reddish pale head. This beer has a scent and aroma of fresh marzipan with an explosion of cherries and raspberries. A play of sweet and sour that refreshes and charms with a very light bitterness that nicely balances the whole. It is surprisingly light and easily digestible for a fairly strong beer.

Colour: 28 EBC

Pouring temperature: 5° - 7°

Shelf life: 2 year

The Saison Dupont biologique is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness.
You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect.
The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer.

Oakwood, complex and perfectly balanced, with smoky and spicy touches. 

This traditional Oude Geuze is the favorite of our team of tasters. Its is pleasantly full bodied, complex and has a few smoky and spicy touches. These unique flavours are due to the oak cask, which used to be used by red wine makers in France's Rhône Valley. 

The oak leaves a clear mark on the general taste, adding an extremely welcome touch to the Lambic's aroma.

The very wine-like accents in this Traditional Oude Geuze are combined with a distinctive 'old beer' character, which gives it a full-bodied and robust flavour, with an unmistable hints of volatile acidity that never overwhelm the senses. 

Cask no. 108, dating from 1935, came to us from a different brewery, whose beers contained some volatile acidity. The foeder now adds a bit of character to all our geuse blends.

BZART LAMBIEK originates from the merger of two glorious traditions, i.e. the ‘Méthode Traditionnelle’ (traditional method) for sparkling wines and the spontaneous fermentation for Lambic beers. The result is a natural, sparkling Lambic beer of Belgian origin.

BZART LAMBIEK is highly suitable as aperitif, digestive or as companion for crustaceans and fish such as mackerel, eels, herring, salmon, halibut, cod and sapphirine gurnard. Bzart Lambiek is mentioned on the menu of renowned restaurants and won the prestigious award of the “World’s Best Brut / Champagne Beer” at the World Beer Awards 2016 in the United Kingdom.
