Crafted, as all good German-like pilsner should be, to be necked in responsibly large quantities while sitting in das Biergarten un bratwurst und sauerkraut. PROST Mein Bruder, trinken wir viel davon verantwortungsvoll! Ya ya ya!

The beer that built a brewery. This is an all NZ hopped English style IPA where the ABV is lower and the malt presence is higher than other more modern counterparts. Orange brown pour with a dense white head and a medley of NZ hop aromas. Some caramel meldanoidins back up this aroma and deliver the toasty, malty palate of the english style. Medium to full body with an assertive bitterness.

5.5% ABV.

This beer has been carefully crafted to keep all the flavour of a bigger beer and wrap it into a sessionable package. A combo of juicy NZ and US hop varieties sit on a full bodied hazy straw coloured base. Aromas of citrus fruits backed up by passionfruit make for a delicious juicy combo that is ideal for anytime drinking.

Pilsner

5.0% – 330ml

Our Pilsner is brewed with soft Waitakere water, German Pilsner malt and Motueka hops, then fermented with a classic Bavarian lager yeast. This Pilsner offers firm bitterness up front, followed by lemon/lime notes from the hops, and leading through to a refreshingly dry finish.

This carefully crafted pilsner uses the finest ingredients and brewing techniques to ensure rich, full-bodied beer taste at only 96 calories.

4.2% ABV

Sunshine Brewing -Brewed for those wanting bigger flavour, Green has found a cult following amongst locals – and for good reason. Dry and crisp like a Gisborne summer, big citrusy hops play against each other in every flavoursome drop.

Tropical fruit aromatics and candied sweetness from El Dorado hops, with a dusting of toasted coconut flavours.
CAN B: LIME SORBET SOUR 4.7%
A fresh bite of citrus, passionfruit and tropical fruit from the Motueka hops.

A classic Czech lager from the heart of the Žatec hop region. Ležák is a crisp, light, and perfectly balanced beer with a pleasant hoppy note.

Crisp and clean like a snowball to the face is how we describe our pilsner. Different to classic European pilsners but with the heritage of all imported malts to create that signature flavour and mouthfeel. Called an NZ pilsner as it is hopped with all NZ varieties that scream to be shown, the riwaka and nelson sauvin show a medly of grape and passionfruit with a lime zing. Light to medium bodied with the creamy mouthfeel of well brewed german malts and a crisp refreshing bitterness to quench the thirst. Winner of a gold medal at 2021 brewers guild awards.

Crisp and hoppy New Zealand Pilsner.

"Sick as, bruh" meant something different for New Plymouth's surfers back in the day. It was probably what they were telling their General Practitioner after paddling through the proverbial let go from the town's 'revolutionary' sewerage system installed in 1933. Thankfully, things have been cleaned up since then, allowing for a much more refreshing ocean experience at the surf break known as 'Bogworks', located directly outside our Brewery. A combination of clean, light malts and crisp Riwaka hops make this New Zealand Pilsner the perfect way to cap off a day catching the big ones.

Pinnacle NZ Pilsner

We’ve been on a journey to find the pinnacle of NZ hops, so when we discovered experimental Bract NZH-106, we knew we had to brew the perfect beer for it. This quintessential New Zealand pilsner is fresh, bright, and thirst-quenching, with tropical hops and a bready backbone. It’s all down-hill from here, because this trip starts at the pinnacle. 

Orion Shokunin Tropical Pilsner

Description

It is brewed with some of the finest indigenous ingredients that were carefully

sourced from Okinawa Japan which has created a refreshingly fruity

aroma and a touch of sweetness to it.

It can be enjoyed with any type of cuisine at any occasions.

ABV: 5%Alc

It seemed apt to name our Pilsner after the home of Pilsner beer; the Czech Republic.

However, this is a very kiwi take on the Czech classic, due to unconventional dry-hopping. The Saaz and Wakatu dominated hop blend creates a floral Pilsner with a crisp, refreshing palate.

5% ABV.

Keeping it clean is the general idea behind this 5.5% West Coast Pilsner. Fistfuls of Australian Eclipse and a touch of Cryo pop bestow citrus and pine character with a dusting of tropical fruit. A light malt base and some snappy carbonation make for a refreshing break from all that housework you've been doing.
