Mena Dhu stout is complex and flavoursome, yet deceptively light and refreshing. A subtle oak smoked aroma sets the scene for a delicious flavour profile that entices with a hint of dark chocolate, followed by a delicate touch of liquorice on the finish.

It’s brewed using a blend of six malts – traditional and pale malts for richness and depth, chocolate and smoked malts for a distinctive taste, and malted oats and roasted barley malts to enhance the finish.

Based on an original Cornish recipe, Mena Dhu means ‘black hill’ in Cornish and is named after the farm that was owned by Walter Hicks, the founder of St Austell Brewery.

Night Ryder is a rich and rewarding chocolate rye stout. Delicious dark roasted malts and American hops deliver outstanding balance along with malted oats for a silky finish.

Richard Emerson loves it when his ears burn. It either means he's being talked about, or he's drinking one of his absolute favourites: a chilli chocolate stout. This luxurious decadent brew is made with cocoa, red chillies, and Belgian yeast, giving it a deliciously complex rich plum, raisin, and chocolate flavour, a smooth velvety texture, and of course a warming spicy finish. Don't worry, while Deaf by Chocolate may make your ears tingle a little, it won't actually make you deaf.

Salted Caramel Stout 6% - 440ml Can

Rich, creamy and velvety with layered notes of caramel, coffee and roasted malts balanced by a delicate saline edge that lingers on the finish. The brewing process starts just as it always has, but with 0.0 the alcohol is gently removed through a cold filtration method. Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard water is drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic chocolate malt and organic cocoa impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish – this is the perfect marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Our 2022 Brewer's Guild Trophy winner is named after the Dark Sky Reserve in the Mackenzie Basin. This beer is best enjoyed on a wintery evening whilst partaking in some shooting star spotting. A pitch black pour with a tight tan head reveals an abundance of complex coffee, chocolate and caramelized sugar aromas that meld with roasted grains and some wood char. Light and creamy is the first impression; giving way to coffee and campfire roast marshmallows finishing with a dry and lengthy roasty bitterness that's classic of the style.

This richly crafted beer offers a deep malt complexity with roasted notes, delivering a balanced bitterness and a smooth, full-bodied finish. This non alc chocolate stout is cocreated with the team at Baron Hasselhoffs artisan chocolate makers in Wellington. Since February we have brewed stout micro batches and got to work building up this tasty brew with ingredients from all over the pacific.

Cacao from PNG, vanilla from Tonga, and a heady mix of spice to heat up your next beer tasting. In full strength beers the alcohol blends all the flavours together - not our beer - all the flavours play a distinct role in this brewlicious stout.
