Albariño is a classic Galician white grape variety from north western Spain, which thrives in New Zealand and tastes of fabulous aromatic lemon zest with green olive and freshly picked apple aromas. Forrest Estate winemaker Beth Forrest first encountered it in Spain and was smitten immediately. This led to Albarino being brought into New Zealand by Riversun Nurseries in Gisborne and, eventually, to growing in Marlborough where Beth and her famous winemaking father, John, Forrest, both love it and produce this fabulous dry white wine.

This wine shows all the classical Albariño elements with a New Zealand touch of vibrant acidity, white peach, pear, apricots and quince, with an orange zest undertone.

This Twelve Year Old Aberlour has been matured in two cask types.  Traditional oak and Sherry oak casks.  Especially selected every year, they are filled with whisky and quietly aged for a minimum of twelve years; then the casks are married together.

Traditional oak casks encourage the subtle character of Aberlour to develop, whilst Sherry oak casks add hints of ruby gold colour and a deep and rich flavour to the whisky.  A perfectly balanced single malt with notes of fruits and spices.

This regional blend of Burgundian Pinot Noir is new in store and impressive with its clean, fresh, savoury flavours, which underpin its lively red fruit and juicy acidity. This is beautiful drinking right now with firm tannins and adding depth to the mid palate and length of flavour to the finish.

The third release in Wolfburn's Kylver series features the runic symbol Thurs, which roughly translates as thorn or giant. This is one of the runic symbol found on the Kylver stone which the series is named after. this limited-edition Highland single malt has been matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, creating aromas of vanilla, angelica root, waxy fruit and charred oak on the nose. The palate offers notes of crunchy brown sugar, fried bananas, oily walnut and a hint of something smoky.

A traditional Rioja. Full bodied. Rich, red fruit aromas with noticeable oak influence. Very fruit forward on the palate.

ZENKURO - This is New Zealand's first ever sake, handcrafted since 2015, in Queenstown.  Our fresh, Premium grade junmai style of sake is pure, nothing added, but give a unique twist with the use of Manuka timber, NZ's own miracle tree.

Our brand is Zenkura - while 'zen' means all, 'kuro' means black - a simple but powerful combination born in NZ.  We start with water from the snow-capped Southern Alps and special sake rice that has been milled to remove the outer 30-40%, leaving only the best part of each grain for the fermentation to begin.

This impressive wine is all about rich, ripe, dark fruit flavours held captive in a soft and smooth Shiraz with layers of complex spicy notes and a hint of that characteristic peppery taste we know and love in great Shiraz. 

A bargain at more than this price and exceptional drinking for now or the next two to three years.

3.5% abv

This fabulous Ciderkin is dry, super refreshing and only 3.5% abv while still having loads of heritage apple flavour.  In fact, we think the flavour is so good, you won't even notice this isn't a traditionally made cider!

Ciderkin is naturally lower in alcohol than our other ciders because it is made by soaking pressed apple skins which results in a much lower sugar content before fermentation.  For this ciderkin we soaked the skins for 48 hours to extract as much flavour as possible.  With much less sugar to ferment, we've end up with a really tasty drink with only 3.5% abv.

Central Otago makes famously dry, concentrated styles of Pinot Gris and Te Kano Life Pinot Gris is an excellent example. Flavours of peach and pear flesh out the body with ginger and spicy aromas adding depth. 

The grapes were hand harvested from the Jerome vineyard which has naturally low vigour and sandy soils, which produce smaller than usual grapes with intense flavours, which produce this structured and complex Gris. 

You’ll recognise the same great flavours of O’Hara’s Irish Stout with trademark robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. Domaine Rolet is considered one of the flagship wines of the Jura département, a wine region located between Burgundy and Switzerland. This region's cool climate wine region expresses itself in a range of white and red grapes that typically enjoy cooler climates. The most planted grapes in the region are Chardonnay  and Savagnin; a specialty to this area, which has traditionally been vinified under a veil of yeast, not unlike the aging of sherry but with quite different results in terms of aromas and flavour, which can be complex, savoury and nutty. The main red grapes in Jura are Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir.
