Every year on the 24th of February, the birthday of "Charles the fifth", the Brewery brews the Gouden Carolus "Cuvee of the Emperor" in a limited quantity and with an eye on the highest quality and tradition. This unique brewing, with only extra fine Belgian hops and with a higher alcohol level, guarantees a better evolution in the time, than the already known Gouden Carolus. This beer, as all our beers, is 100 % natural, with no preservatives, no adjuncts and no chemicals. We bottle it in bottles of 750ml and closed with a quality cork. Excellent to store several years.

Chablis is one of the great white wine regions of the world in its northernmost location in Burgundy. This wine is a beautiful balanced expression of Chardonnay with fresh aromas of white flowers, brioche and leafy notes. The palate reveals power, richness and finness with mineral, mellowness and vivacious flavours of white peach, citrus and creamy mouthfeel in a complex dry white. 

Domaine Joblot is credited for putting the Givry region back on the Burgundy map with its high quality Pinot Noir. The fruit is meticulously picked and vinified. 

This Pinot shows great finesse and charm. The nose is fresh and fruity, with cherry and raspberry notes. Earthiness and gentle oak on the palate are complemented by red fruit notes. This is a medium bodied Pinot with moderate tannins and a balanced finish,

This tasty pink sparkling Spanish wine comes from Bodegas Alta Alella, which uses the Mataró grape in this wine. This is grown organically, hand harvested and aged for 15 months on lees following the second fermentation. That's the same time frame as the majority of champagnes but this lovely dry sparkling wine comes to us all at a mere fraction of the price. It has zero dosage so it's bone dry in taste and is bursting with delicious flavours, a medium body, refreshing style and a long finish. 

Syrah is usually regarded as a French grape but it has found a remarkably delicious home in southern Portugal's Alentejo region where its thick skins and ripe black fruit flavours have clearly ripened incredibly well. This deeply coloured, full bodied, intensely flavoursome dry red is made from 100% Syrah and has great aging potential. 

It also drinks exceptionally well right now. Decant and sip in a large glass. Or stash a few bottles in your wine collection and leave them for eight to nine years.

A cracking sparkler from Marlborough's Cloudy Bay. This has more weight and fruit sweetness than the standard Pelorus thanks to a higher percentage Pinot and offers strawberry and biscuit elements on the nose and palate.

Big Wave is a light golden ale with a subtle fruitiness and delicate hop aroma. A smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The lightly roasted honey malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and also gives a slight sweetness that is balanced out by our special blend of hops.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Cuvée van de Keizer Blauw", the brewery launched a blond-version : Cuvée van de Keizer Rood. This beer is similar to the previous Gouden Carolus Easter Beer. Blond rich beer that is brewed each year during the Easter period. It contains several types of malt and during brewing 3 herbs are added. Its bright golden color, high alcohol percentage and full and well-balanced taste make this ale a genuine source of vitality and power which will please even the most critical connoisseur.

Pusser’s Overproof is a high-strength dark rum. While the rum is produced with the same blend of rums as the Original Admiralty strength, the final product is a potent blend best used as a ‘floater’ on top of cocktails including tropical and classic tiki drinks.

El Tesoro Reposado is a premium 100% agave tequila aged for 9–11 months in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, producing a balanced, agave-forward profile with notes of vanilla, oak, and smoke. Crafted using traditional tahona wheel extraction at La Alteña distillery, it is distilled to proof for a rich, authentic flavor ideal for sipping.

The Single Barrel is much darker than the other JD whiskeys.; Six to sevenyears in the barrel leaves it a deep copper-red colour. In the mouthit is much more intense, and far fuller in flavour. The grain, caramel,vanilla and charcoal flavours are wonderfully balanced.source: alcoholreviews.com

Kerry Gray from Choice Bros. suggested a connection beer and handed us a vial of The Dirty Dozen from East Coast Yeast. 

We made a strong version of our Grisette then poured it into a freshly emptied Gewürztraminer , batch 3 a pinot gris barrel, then threw in the brett.. Barrel aged 10 months, Autobarn is more funk than sour, with winey vanilla overtones from the wood. Organic beer.
