Douglas Laing's Big Peat is a feisty Islay character with a sweet side. This is a small batch bottling, without colouring or chill-filtration and only contains Islay Malt Whiskies, including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and (even the elusive) Port Ellen, to name but a few! 

Seagers is a London style dry gin. Only the finest, natural, aromatic botanicals are selected to create Seagers gin. These elements are fused together to create a unique alluring aroma and complex flavours which refresh a stimulate.

Only produced in the best years, this Reserve Syrah is Passage Rock's showcase wine.

Rich ripe aromas of dark forest fruit and spice, coffee and vanilla on the nose lead to a dark garnet intensity in the glass. On the palate, toasted nuts and spices vie with dark berries, integrated ripe tannins and lacy acidity. Cellar it for 10 to 15 years

The jewel in the Esk Valley crown, made from one of this country's most distinctive plots of land at Bayview, north of Napier, at the original Esk Valley Winery.

The Terraces has long been associated with excellence and the best wines from Esk Valley Estate's iconic sun drenched hillside terrace vineyard - the first place that Malbec was ever grown in New Zealand.

The philosophy behind this wine is to express the single vineyard Since its inaugural 1991 vintage, only 13 vintages have been produced and, for the first time in its history, this is the winery's third consecutive vintage. Which is testament to winemaker Gordon Russell's quest to make the best and to the winery's ongoing conversion to organic production. 

The wine is a blend of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. All grapes were dry farmed, hand harvested and co fermented in one concrete fermenter with wild yeasts. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. 

This wine represents the pinnacle of Esk Valley wines and is considered the jewel in the winery's crown. It is a keeper for the wine cellar and also makes a special gift. 

Gulden Draak is a high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation. For the secondary fermentation, wine yeast is used. The white bottle, the black banner, the golden dragon and the red letters, constitute a stylish result that has no equal among the many Belgian special beers.

Pure Kingston Black juice wild fermented in oak.  Sour notes from the addtion of a little of our Brett Monster cider fermented at Garage Project's wild workshop.  This is as close to a Sidra Natural as we have come.  Unfiltered, enjoyably acetic, and a little too quaffable.

7.5% ABV.

All the grapes from this wine are from our Dry River Estate vineyard, with the majority from our first planted vines in 1979. These are dry-grown vines yielding very small bunches and berries. The idea is for this wine to transcend varietal archetype, where the wine is the wine, standing outside its category.
We want to bring you a distinctive Dry River expression of Pinot Gris. The wine is perfect to enjoy young with food, but will further improve over the next five years.
Wet stone, mineral notes and riper characters of kiwi fruit, pears and stone fruit greet the nose. Further complexity is driven by long maturation on lees in old oak barrels, bringing out cashew nuts and a touch of cream and vanilla. The palate is seamless with transparent tannins and densely-packed fruit that brings the focus to middle and finishes effortlessly.

2024 - Bright and fragrant, this Pinot Gris opens with vibrant notes of orange zest, warm apricot, and a whisper of ginger, layered with delicate green melon and soft pear. A subtle floral lift, reminiscent of wildflowers, enhances the bouquet. On the
palate, rich, pastry-like phenolics create depth and texture, evoking the comforting warmth of a crackling fire. A touch of residual sugar lends a silk-like smoothness, while hints of popcorn and brown sugar add contrast and structure to its opulent breadth. The finish is indulgent and lingering, leaving an irresistible, moreish allure.

The strength of this classic wheat beer lies in the harmonious balance it achieves between the various aromas. Gently spicy wheat and yeast aromas blend with mildly bitter hops. Liefmans Goudenband is one of the most distinctive dark beers in the world. Originally called IJzerenband (Iron Band) – a reference to the iron bands around the beer barrels – the bottle gained its champagne cork when it was renamed Liefmans Goudenband (Gold Band). Made in open vats with beer of mixed fermentation, it is left to mature for four to 12 months in the cellar. Mature beer is then fortified with younger beer, so the fermentation process starts up again.

On the taste buds you will find hints of apple and cherries, combined with woody notes, while the aftertaste hints at nuts and dried raisins. The mildly acidic taste make this beer a perfect match for blue cheese.

Pure roasted coffee aromas with a rich, thick consistency that makes it perfect for cocktail use. Another liqueur whoseprecise production details are shrouded in secrecy. All we can tell youis the coffee beans are finest Mexican and the alcohol comes fromdistilled cane sugar.

Cold pressed whole ginger root brings big ginger nose, nice ginger spice, delicate carbonation and a floral finish from the sencha green tea.
