Winemaker's notes...

Our Palomino is produced using the grapes from a traditional Spanish varietal planted here on Brakkuil farm back in 1978.

The vineyard at the foot of "Klein Tafelberg" (small Table Mountain) is comprised of limestone rich coastal soil - adding hugely to the Palomino's subtle notes of natural sea salt minerality.

During harvesting, the grapes are pressed and their juices inserted into tanks until primary fermentation has been successfully executed.

It is then when the veil starts its process for a couple of weeks to months. After this process the wine is transferred to French oak barrels and left for 6 to 12 months to reach maturity.

Domaine Fazi rosé is translucent, airy and pale in appearance with a very subtle nose, slightly fruity, slightly spicy, with fine and elegant aromas. On the palate, it is fresh and reveals a persistent finish and perfect balance with notes of papaya, citrus and red summer berries.

35% Sciaccarellu, 30% Merlot, 25% Grenache and 10% Cinsault

Marcel Deiss 1er Cru Jeu des Verts 2021 is a French Alsace White wine blend made from Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Riesling grapes. The wine is made from a 1.5-hectare vineyard in Bergheim, Gruenspiel, France, that was planted between 1982 and 2002. The vineyard is located in a south-facing amphitheater that overlooks Ribeauvillé, and the wine is made using organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic (Demeter) methods. The grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for three weeks, then aged in old foudre for 12 months. The wine is unfined, unfiltered, and does not contain added SO2

A classic oatmeal stout dry hopped to fuck with the finest US grown Amarillo. Big Orange-citrus hop character, robust bitterness, classic coffee and cocoa.

Kilkenny is brewed at Ireland's oldest established brewery, St Francis Abbey in Kilkenny city, which dates back to the 14th century. Kilkenny is a rich and creamy ale with a smooth, clean taste. It is brewed from 100% Irish malt, giving it a distinctive ruby-red colour.

"Terrible Lizards IPA, much like Jurassic Park, is a spectacle of special effects and big flavour. Bold grapefruit and sweet fruit notes, the hop blend of Mosaic and Cascade offers something you can really sink your teeth into."

It sounds Japanese but it's as American as having a BMI of 32. The Yakima Valley in Washington state, situated in the top left corner of the lower 48, is home to some of our favourite hop varieties, the tiny green flavour bombs that powered the whole craft beer renaissance from the get go. Liberty is what it smells like.

The Chatterer Merlot Cabernet will definitely get tongues wagging with its depth of blackberry and blueberry fruit flavours, full and rounded body and outstanding character. This wine offers fabulous value for money and beautiful aromas of soft plums and dark berry fruits. 

The 2021 vintage was great in Hawke's Bay and that comes through in every complex sip.

Site : "Les Marconnets" are located in the Northern hint of the Appelation Beaune 1er Cru. The name of this vineyard referred to the german tribe "Marcomans". Chanson owns 4 ha, i.e, 40% of the vineyard.

The Vintage 2022 : After a winter characterized by marked variations in temperature between January and February, spring started with mild temperatures. A sequence of cold weather in April was followed by warm temperatures in May but the lack of water was very noticeable and could not be compensated by the rainy storms of June. Summer was marked by several and long heat waves and the storms of the end of August were most welcome. The harvest at Chanson started on August 30 with a team of 100 persons and ended on September 13. 2022 vintage was quite generous both in volume and quality and the red wines are generous and well-balanced with an outstanding crunchy fruit.

Tasting : Bright ruby color. Floral fragrances (peony) mixed with strawberry and rasperry jam aromas on a hint of minerality. Well-structured and muscular. Deep and dense texture. Site : On the Mont Battois hillside, facing Beaune, the name "Grèves" derives from the sandy and gravely soil. Separated from the Clos des Fèves by a narrow path this Chanson vineyard covers 2 hectares
