Hastings Distillers are New Zealand’s first producer of certified organic artisan spirits and liqueurs. The artisans behind it are Kate Galloway and David Ramonteu. On the back of their extensive background in winemaking they successfully create sophisticated, unique spirits and liqueurs that will always have a place on our shelves.

Combining their East Block 200 Gin, L’Opera bitter orange and Rubis Vermouth, ‘The Count’ pays tribute to the classic Negroni. 

Featuring all organic botanicals, the Count is a luscious and spicy assemblage of aromatic gin, fragrant seville and navel oranges, dark fruits, dried herbs and warm spice.  The palate is smooth and round with a pleasant, lingering bitterness.

Sophisticated, yet simple, The Count is ready to serve.

Pour cold over a single large ice cube and garnish with an orange twist.

Our latest addition is a golden lager. It’s been on our radar for a while, and up till now, it’s impossible to brew. We have found a new yeast specific for zeros that can work well with wheat and barley to brew an all-malt lager. A quality Golden lager needs quality ingredients and this all NZ beer delivers! The grains of Canterbury give the body of Riwaka hops the finish. Enjoy

Expressive and appealing, this charming sparkling wine offers classic Prosecco drinkability. Lifted aromas of ripe stone fruit, rockmelon, citrus and brioche lead to a beautifully weighted palate that is rounded and smooth, wonderfully supported by juicy acidity. A lovely drink for any occasion.

Very pale straw yellow and a fine, persistent perlage. The aroma is very fruity and flowery with hints of ripe golden apple and small mountain flowers. The dry, fresh and flavoursome sensation on the palate is followed by a fruity and harmonious aftertaste.

This blonde beer full of character is our plea for Belgian Hops: NoAH stands for “No American Hops”. The finest hops, all grown in Belgium, were selected to give this beer a sturdy but pure bitterness and noble hop aroma. Vouvray is a French wine appellation devoted to the great Chenin Blanc grape, which is expressed vibrantly in this gorgeously fresh and light bodied but intensely flavoursome white wine. Its high acidity and expansive fresh flavours make Chenin Blanc one of the most versatile wines with its bold and bright lemon, honey and floral aromas. High acidity adds length and backbone to the palate of this lovely wine. 

The history, mystery of a long established winery

The Domaine Marc Bredif winery is one of the great names of the Loire. The estate has enjoyed a long and colourful history, having been established in 1893 under the original name of Château les Roches. In 1919, not long after the end of the First World War, Marc Bredif took over from his Uncle and renamed the property to mark the change of ownership. His focus was simple, to forge an unrivalled reputation for excellence amongst the estates of the Loire Valley.
He invested heavily in the estate during the 1930’s, building a tremendous circular storage room in the heart of its cellars, which today houses venerable vintages of sweet Vouvray, some of which date back to the 1900’s. The property managed to survive the Second War World War relatively unharmed and remained under family control until the 1980’s. As is so often the case, family intrigue and financial necessity meant that the Domaine had to be sold, and in 1980 Baron Patrick de Ladoucette acquired the estate. Thankfully, the Baron was every bit the conscientious owner and has given new life to Marc Bredif – investing heavily and expanding their holdings to include some of the most prized Vouvray vineyards – 20 hectares in total. Picking exclusively by hand, the Domaine produces some of the most profound and immortal expressions of Chenin Blanc, in a range of styles to suit all wine lovers.

The Gauloise Ambrée is characterised by its fragrance. You will find a varied palette of flavours. It is very easily digestible and refreshing.

After boiling up a massive stout, we used a 50/50 Blend of Toasted and Raw Biodynamic coconut before a big dose of marshmallows.

Emperor’s Marshmalotonin pours a viscous jet black with a creamy head. Balanced aroma’s and flavors of Hershey syrup, coconut macaroons, and vanilla frosting homogeneously lead into a decadent chocolate finish laced with coconut slicks

11% ABV

Its slight bitterness gives it a mildly fruity fragrance with a tinge of hops. Not too strong but full-bodied asserting its character.
