Highland Nectar is a brand new liqueur from the fine folk at Elixir Distillers, made from the marriage of Scotch whisky with infusions of bitter orange, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon. The character of the ex-sherry cask matured Highland whiskies used shines through, contrasting the syrup and all-natural spice flavours. A deliciously old-school and traditional style of whisky liqueur.

Sean O?Riada is one of the heroes of modern Ireland. A talented musician and composer, he is credited with taking traditional Irish music out of the kitchens and pubs of Ireland and putting it on the concert stages of the world. He died, prematurely, in 1971, the year Clonakilla was established by John Kirk. He was John?s cousin.

2022 was a cool vintage with gentle ripening progressing well into autumn. The O?Riada is made from fruit picked from our estate vineyard and other fine sites in Murrumbateman and Hall. It?s a quintessential Canberra Shiraz, medium bodied with red berry and floral themes and plenty of cool-climate spice.

The long awaited vintage 2022 Coleraine harnesses the energy and complexity of Te Mata Cabernet Sauvignon, on show at its highest level since the first Coleraine in 1982.

Beautiful floral aromas of lavender, violet, plum and blackcurrant, are all in orbit around the wine’s dark savoury core of tightly wound graphite, nori, coffee grounds, vanilla and tobacco.  The palate is intensely concentrated, with a superbright tension building freshness and precision as layer upon layer of fine polished tannins give pinpoint detail alongside signature, exacting, levels of finesse.

Coleraine '22 is a modern reprise of what makes Coleraine iconic, a wine balancing past and future, heritage and innovation. This is a statement wine, one that lingers both on the palate and in the mind.

The inspiration to create this increasingly popular beer came from the heart of Europe - it is a Belgian-style wheat BLANC beer, very refreshing, a carefully balanced combination of a little sweetness and sourness typical of wheat beer, with a delicate aroma of citrus fruits and spices.

The 2022 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru has more mineralité on the nose than some of its peers: crushed limestone filtering through the malic scents and a slight algae-like aroma. The palate is well-balanced with a keen thread of acidity, seductive orange pith and citrus notes. The 2022 has a composed and harmonious finish. This is a well-made and delicious Vaillons.

The commune of Savigny les Beaune is located above between Aloxe Corton and Pernand Vergelesses, in the north of the Côte de Beaune.

Savigny produces exclusively almost red wines (90%) under the village and premier cru appellations. The vineyard shows an east and north-east exposure and is situated between 220 and 360m. The Dominode vineyard is very suitable to Pinot Noir because the soil is deep and benefits for a large variety of fallen rocks from the top of the hill.

The grapes bear small little dark red berries. The bunches are destemmed; they macerate in open vats during 4 weeks helping the subtle terroir to reveal itself. After devatting, the wines are aged in oak barrels during 18 months.

Food pairing - roasted salmon, roasted chicken, grilled red meat : beef, lamb chops, osso bucco, stew, ragout, bœuf bourguignon, duck, partridge, quail, deer, young wild boar, teppanyaki beef, mashed potatoes with salted butter, Cîteaux, Mont d’Or.

A rich and complete Premier Cru Pinot Noir from Volnay in Burgundy. Clos de la Barre is a Monopole (i.e. exclusively owned by Jadot). Grown in a real clos that is surrounded by high stone walls, it produces a more assertive wine than other Volnays, with ethereal spice and mineral tannins detailed amongst slightly richer, riper fruit. With serious character, this powerful and structured wine is built to improve with age. This is a superb offering from Louis Jadot.

Cuvée Watou Rouge has a blood-red colour that permeates into the creamy, foamy head. When tasting it, the sweet, fruity aroma is quite prominent, first of all, after which the taste of cherries and raspberries prevails. The soft after-taste, which does not linger for too long, creates a feeling for more. In short: summer in a glass.

Cuvée Watou Rouge was brought onto the market in 2019, at the request of our customers. After a one-year research period, our brew master was satisfied with the fruit combination that he had put together. This typical Rouge can tempt both men and women and should be seen as a fruit beer with a savouring character

Puhoi Beer is our award-winning version of the classic Czech pilsner.

Inspired by the original Bohemian settlers of Puhoi, Puhoi Beer is a drinkable lager with a bunch of character.

If we were trying to impress you we might have crapped on about Puhoi Beer being a mix of NZ and classic Czech noble hops that provide floral, citrusy, and spicy flavours on a light malt base with subtle bready and toasty characters. But we wouldn’t want to beer-bore you so let’s just say it’s bloody tasty.

Puhoi Beer also goes well with sunshine, tall tales, good yarns, and fish ‘n’ chips wrapped in newspaper.

Your first one tastes pretty good, and the second’s not bad either.

Tannat originates from the Madiran region of south-west France – the variety the so-called “French Paradox” is based on. Tannat is known for its huge colour and tannin concentration – in the Madiran region, this grape has the nickname of ‘la folle noir’ – literally ‘the crazy black grape’. It has a unique aroma and flavour profile – vibrant fruit alongside ‘earthy’ notes.

The colour of the wine is a rich and vibrant hue of real intensity. The nose has a totally unique fruit profile of blackberry/blueberry notes and an underlying earthiness with hints of fountain-pen ink and a seam of French oak. At present, the wine displays a youthful vibrancy – our experience is that with bottle age, the primary fruit gives way to earthiness and increased complexity.

There is a burst of black cherry fruit with a fresh lively mid-palate. The winemaking was directed towards softening the tannins to create mid-palate ‘flesh’ – tannins support rather than dominate the palate here. Acid has been managed to enhance the wines vibrancy and fruit.

This huge wine will work well with a wide range of red meat dishes. We expect it to last a very long time – 10+ years.

Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 4 opens with enticing aromas of toasted coconut, driven by the ex-bourbon casks, along with crushed lemons and cedarwood; there’s a delightful hint of Turkish Delight in the aromatic peat smoke too, thanks to the influence of the ex-port casks. Intriguing flavours of zesty pink grapefruit and fragrant rose water emerge on the palate, expertly balanced by earthier suggestions of toasted oak and heather-rich peat, while the long finish reveals exotic sun-baked spices and a ribbon of liquorice running through the final breath of floral peat smoke.

Tantalize your taste buds with this refreshingly complex kettle sour. We?ve paired the tanginess of NZ raspberries with the rich depth of Ecuadorian cacao nibs to create a truly unique flavour experience.
