Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson’s first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints. The aroma is toasty, with a hint of sweetness and some earthy hop notes. Firm-bodied but not heavy, with a creamy texture, the dryish palate is full of roasted malt, coffeeish notes and a sustained bitterness.

Vino Novello News comes from Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes grown in the municipalities of Ortona and San Salvo, on the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo.

It is vinified through the carbonic maceration technique in whole clusters at a temperature of 30 ? C for 10 days. The grapes are pressed and spontaneously ferment for 4 days after which the wine is bottled and ready for consumption.

Ruby red in colour, it expresses itself on the nose with hints of red fruits. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, very pleasant, ready to drink.

It goes perfectly with cured meats, recipes based on mushrooms and grilled chestnuts.

Commercial description

Immediately appealing on the nose showing dark cherry, roasted nut, game, warm mushroom and rich floral aromas. The palate delivers terrific weight and richness, splendidly supported by velvety texture and layers of polished tannins. Graceful and harmonious with an impressive long silky finish.

When you are looking to take a break from the haze and get into the clear, but still crave a hop fix, then Adios will do it for you. Adios is brewed with Zappa, a wild neo-mexicanus hop that was recovered from the mountains of New Mexico, and topped with El Dorado, Azacca and Talus hops to bring a tropical fruit and citrus profile on the nose. Add in the classic West Coast IPA hops, Chinook and Simcoe, and Adios delivers a clean and fruity attitude, putting a Mexicali twist on the venerable West Coast IPA. 6.5% ABV

The XPA style is designed to showcase hops while Brut styles produce a dry beer with little or no malt character. With Bone Dry Brut XPA we combine both these styles to produce a beer which is lighter in colour than a pale ale and very dry, which allows the hops to shine through. This brew uses Nectaron hops which bring intense tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Bone Dry is an easy drinker, dry and crisp, with a noticeable hop experience, and low in carbohydrates compared to other beer styles. **Highly Commended - New World Beer & Cider Awards 2019 and 2024**

Born with a rugged smoothness, this beer stands out like a Grizzly on its hind legs. The lightly burnt malt character that delivers chocolate coffee mocha flavours neatly combines with a bit of grainy, dark malt dryness on the finish. Add to this aging on bourbon barrel wood to further enhance the smoothness and bring faint vanilla aromas, and the rest is magic. One of our favorite styles and brews to date, we now have our Vienna Lager available in 440mL cans. Brewed with New Zealand malt and hops. Warm gold in colour this lager fermented low and slow to create a balanced beer with a malty backbone and crisp finish. A great craft beer gateway beverage for your macrobrew drinking friends and family. Unfined, unfiltered, 25 IBU's and 4.0% ABV. can conditioned so expect some life at the bottom of the can.

In collaboration with our friends at Kindeli, we brewed a deeply crunchy rustic Rye Saison on top of a mid-ferment Organic Feijoa Cider. Fermented using a mixed culture including our house wild yeast that we grew from Manuka branches and aged in large format oak over the Spring and summer months. This beer is incredibly unique and quenching bringin gthe best fruity acidity of Feijoa balance matches with the body and creaminess of a classic Brood Fermentation Saison.
Unfined, unfiltered, 20 IBU, 7.4 ABV.

Smokey brown ale fermented in seasoned Pinot noir barrels. Refermented on fresh blackberries and aged for 18 months to further sour. Smoked malts, chocolate, pepper on the nose, with subtle red fruit aromas. Vibrant farmhouse acidity balanced with salinity and finishes with a light cacao on the pallet. A very 'Brood Fermentation' sour brown ale of our dreams.
