Mcleod's Brewery - A stronger version of a Belgian Blonde Ale, this one is all about fruity, alcohol-driving aromas of pear & spice. With a rich, surprisingly full palate, it's light in colour & dry with a hint of bitterness over a long, complex finish. Bottle-conditioned, so don't stir in the sediment & pour slowly. Ridiculously drinkable now, but it will cellar up to five years.

Independence means thinking for ourselves and we value that in others. Making a beer without alcohol was a challenge we wanted to meet. We have an ethos of resourcefulness and creativity in how our brewery is run and all of that was needed in brewing this beer with aroma, great mouthfeel and balance. A very special "Imperial Gueuze" inspired blend of selected barrels from our library. One third each of spontaneously fermented 8, 6, and 4 year old barrels create a perfect marriage of funk, fruit, acidity and sherry-like aged flavours. We barrel aged our first beer in 2010 since then we have built up maybe the largest barrel programme in the Southern Hemisphere . McLeod's flagship beer and trophy winner for Best International Lager at the 2017 Brewers' Guild of New Zealand Awards, this is a proper Lager matured for a full six weeks before release. Expect a sparkling light-gold colour with ripe melon and stone fruit aromas. Crisp but layered with ‘biscuity’ malt, it finishes dry with balanced bitterness.

Our everyday pale that's anything but ‘everyday’. Paradise Pale Ale is laden with NZ hops making it ‘all-tropical’ all the time. Star fruit, oranges, limes & papaya fill the palate along with enough light malt to keep it dry & refreshing. You could say there’s a little paradise in every pour.

Say hello to Juno, Urbanaut's juicy lil' hazy pale ale that packs the punch of a full-blown hazy IPA, but with a deliciously sessionable ABV of just 2.5% assuring your dance moves stay slick all night long. Brimming with big nectarine, apricot and peach flavours and a gently rounded mouthfeel usually unseen in low-ABV beers, Juno is a LIL beer with BIG ambitions.

Parrot Dog - Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It’s matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt. 

5.8% ALC./VOL.

Lusciously creamy on the tongue, this Imperial Strength Milk Stout is stronger and sweeter than its Double Cream sibling. You can expect the same full-bodied mouthfeel and bittersweet, mocha aromatics with a hint of spice from the Moutere and Willamette hops.

Super juicy and tropical with punchy flavours of passionfruit, mango and orange.

Paloma New Zealand Barrel-Aged Barleywine is a rich, smooth, nutty, strong ale that has been aged for ten months in French oak wine barrels that previously held New Zealand Whisky Co's Double-Wood Whisky for many years. Like all our beers, it is made with New Zealand-grown malt and hops.

14.3% ABV.

Two Liberty fan faves in one; easy-drinking Oh Bro, and Jungle Juice – the untamed, palate-pounding Hazy. With the best bits of each brew carefully blended and balanced by our hop savant, Juice Bro’s soft mats highlight the citrusy pomelo and orange stylings of Mosaic and Amarillo cones.

5.0% ABV

Yum yum is a Japanese style lager brewed with Yuzu to give a big refreshing citrus hit.  yuzu is a type of Japanese citrus that has similar flavours to lemon, grapefruit and lime.

4.7% ABV.

A dark full-bodied beer that greets you with aromas of coffee and dark chocolate and follows through with hints of vanilla, cherries and a touch of cigar. The finish reveals a surprising blend of richness and warmth with a silky smooth mouthfeel.

6.8% ABV

Marlborough's Renaissance has had a cracking year taking out both the Champion Brewery Award at the NZ Beer Awards and Champion Small Brewery Award in Australia. Stonecutter is their flagship combining a rich complex caramel and coffee malt character with a hint of peat smoke, and a raisin and marmalade fruitiness. Stonecutter is every bit the match to a charred steak off the barbecue.
