Tantric Haze Hazy IPA was brewed to be as tantalizing and as rich of an experience possible. We knew we needed overwhelming fruity aromas so decided to ensure this had a massive double whirlpool hopping followed by a triple dryhopping starting on the first day of fermentation and continuing throughout until our yeasts had given all they could. 

We wanted a soft and supple bitterness that was enough to balance but gentle and forgiving thus we massaged our water chemistry. We didn't want to overpower the aroma and flavour the hops had to give, thus did not add any hops for the bittering into the boil. 

Lastly we needed a yeast that had the power to biotransform the massive hop quantities into a bold rich juiciness. Any element by itself is not standalone worthy but altogether combine into this sensually hazy IPA that we believe will deliver you an experience of love and enjoyment!

7.0 % ABV.

It’s time to level up our Hazy IPA offering. People have been loving the Epic Hazy orange cans so much they have asked us when are we going to do a six pack. Well the answer is, NOW! We have taken the best of all our Hazy IPA recipes over the last 12 months and we have “cranked up the juice”.

We had already spent two years researching and tasting all the hazy IPA’s so we could come up with the ultimate recipe. We have also now brewed a bunch of different versions using different hop combinations over the last 18 months. We think that all the time and effort that has gone into making stunning Hazy IPA recipes will really show up in this beer. We have used an “Epic” amount of hops as you would expect from us. We got the biggest, juiciest, stickiest Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops we could find. A blend of T90 and Cryo hops to give the maximum desired aromas and flavours. It’s like drizzling freshly squeezed passionfruit, mango and pineapple juice across your tongue.

A super low bitterness and maximum haze, will keep every Hazy-Head happy with being able to sit down and drink a few from the six pack. Share some with a friend. They will thank you for it.

5.3% ABV

Based on the historic stouts of London which added Oysters to add to theirperceived nutrition Three Boys annual winter release includes fresh BluffOysters which are added to boil with the hops. Pouring an inky pitch black witha healthy tan head, Oyster Stout is dry, roasty and rich with some dark fruitand the slightest hint of brine. 

At 6.2% ABV it's the ideal winter warmer forthe frosty nights we have been having. 

It's also the perfect accompaniment to afresh bluff oyster or a hearty beef and mushroom pie.

NZ went hard, went early and this far have smashed Covid-19! Behemoth have made this beer in honour of what the whole of Aotearoa has been through! Teaming up with their friends at Harpoon Cold Brew Coffee, they’ve infused cold brew into this massive barleywine. Emerson's - One for the hopheads, Bird Dog is full of intense flavours courtesy of American hops to deliver a smooth, resiny beer. Tropical fruit dominates the flavour with subtle fresh squeezed orange with a hint of pine thrown in. Given the name, the astute drinker will note a gratifying absence of any avian or canine aftertaste.

7.0% ABV.

Armageddon is the pinnacle of impish brewer Luke Nicholas's obsession with American hops! This 6.66% abv beer hits you in the face with massive aromas of lychee, gooseberry, and grapefruit before filling your mouth with resinous citrusy hop flavours and a firm malt profile. 

A long awaited release! Supplies won't last long.

6.66% ABV.

This gorgeous NEIPA is Eddyline's classic CrankYanker recipe but modified by boosting the tropical El Dorado Hops, and adding a touch of Citra hops along with the standard Centennial and Mosaic.

 It comes across as a dank juiciness bursting with tropical aromas.

6.5% ABV.

Our Amigo Mexican Amber is based on one of our favourite Mexican beers, Negra Modelo and technically is considered a Munich Dunkel.  Made with German lager yeast, all New Zealand Gladfield malts and malted maize corn, and NZ hops it is an authentic representation. This easy drinking beer is great for any occasion and goes well with any meal and enjoyed by all generations.

5.5% ABV.

Pie In The Sky Truffled NZ Whisky Barrel-Aged Barleywine was aged for 14 months in NZ Whisky Co casks. This dark amber beer presents a glorious harmony of black truffles and single malt whisky with notes of sherried walnuts, milk chocolate, dry spices and Christmas cake, with a lingering red wine finish.

These beers will age gracefully for many years, but are fabulous right now. Do not serve cold! Treat it like you would a port or red wine and serve it in an elegant glass. Enjoy it in your bubble for any reason to celebrate.

12% ABV.

Black Ruby Imperial Stout is an English-Style Imperial Stout characterized by layers of dark malt complexity fused with People’s Don Wilfredo coffee beans, Wellington Chocolate Factory Dominican cacao nibs, and raspberries. 

Originally brewed for GABS 2016.

 11.1% ABV.

For Great Justice is a delicious, smooth brown porter made with all NZ malt and hops. Biscuit, brown, and chocolate malts meld beautifully with freshly toasted coconut. Serve cool but not chilled to allow the coconut to shine through.

4.5% ABV.

A golden, gluten-free ale made with sorghum, rice, and New Zealand Goldings hops, Auro Gluten-Free Ale is clean, very clear, light and refreshing, with full malty flavour and body.

Brewer's Notes

We really care about our beer and making the best quality beer possible. Auro Gluten-Free Ale is no exception and is made under HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). It has 4 stages where we check for the absence of gluten in the beer - in the kettle, in the fermenter, post filtration, and in package. We use an industry accepted method for testing for the presence of gluten (gliadin and hordein proteins) which has an incredibly low threshold of detection of 1PPM (which is well below the accepted minimum detection level of 3PPM). Food Standards Austalia New Zealand specifies that a product may only be called Gluten-Free if there is no gluten detected and considers a result of less than 3PPM as suitable for calling "Gluten-Free". We test ourselves at a far more stringent level of testing than is applied in the US, EU, UK, Australia or New Zealand. We are confident that we are achieving this result and would not release the beer if it tested otherwise. We produce other products which do contain gluten and have a very rigorous cleaning schedule which we follow prior to making our gluten-free beer. Breweries are typically kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, but there are problem points which we have identified on our brewhouse where proteins can build up as staining or deposits. To address this we perform a second level of cleaning beyond our usual caustic-based standard cleaning procedures with an intensive renovation cleaning procedure prior to making Auro. To do this we strip off key fittings from the brewhouse and manually clean the problem areas and visually inspect all surfaces to make sure they are not stained with deposits, and then use a hot-acid detergent wash of all the food contact surfaces in our kettle, heat exchanger, and transfer hose.

BIRDSEYE

Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.

5.8% ABV.

The taste of Kiwi hay paddocks and sunshine, bright fresh fruity New Zealand hop aromas (passionfruit, mango, citrus) layered over a firm biscuity malt backbone.

Refreshing and complex. As far as we are concerned the crucial element for a perfect summer. 

Drink with: Barbequed fish, shellfish , salads.

4.2% ABV.

A Vienna lager has a complex balance of well-rounded maltiness & gentle hop bitterness with a crisp dry finish with hints of sweetness. Maidstone Lager is our light & refreshing interpretation of this European style.
