Oktoberfest might sound like it belongs in October, but the celebrations actually kick off in September, a tradition dating back to 1810, when Munich beer lovers realised warmer days made for better steins-in-hand gatherings. The name stayed, the party moved earlier… and we’ve brewed Red Oktober, our smooth Vienna Lager, just in time. Raise a glass and celebrate early!

This beer is made in the traditional Belgian way i.e. a grist of 40% raw wheat and 60% malted barley, a turbid mash, aged hops, a long boil, spontaneously fermented (the wort is cooled overnight in an open tray allowing wild yeast and bacteria to inoculate it), aged in oak barrels for at least 1 year and then refermented on apricots for 2mths before conditioning. The whole process takes about 2 years.
Karamu Apricots is ready to drink after about four months of conditioning. However, although it continues to evolve, it remains great drinking for many years.

Moa Imperial Stout is a very strong, upfront and rich beer hopped to over 100 IBUs. Aged with French oak, this beer not only displays coffee, mocha and smoked cedar characters but also some sweet and savoury notes unique to Moa Imperial Stout. A great beer to cellar and age.

Queenstowns hottest summer beverage is back.  Following its smash hit trial launch last year this is a fresh and zesty sparkling white sangria with a beautiful pink blush thats poured over ice. Juicy watermelon aromas meld with fresh grape and a light dry spritzy mouthfeel quenches all thirsts.

This non alc chocolate stout is cocreated with the team at Baron Hasselhoffs artisan chocolate makers in Wellington. Since February we have brewed stout micro batches and got to work building up this tasty brew with ingredients from all over the pacific.

Cacao from PNG, vanilla from Tonga, and a heady mix of spice to heat up your next beer tasting. In full strength beers the alcohol blends all the flavours together - not our beer - all the flavours play a distinct role in this brewlicious stout.

5.2% - Pacific Northwest APA

An American classic, with a twist of pine. Ponderosa Pale - American Pale Ale. Sweet malts blended with Oregon Chinook, Cascade, Citra and Strata and finished with a shot of pine terpene. White grapefruit citrus, dank pineapple sativa and sun warmed old growth resin, all balanced with chewy caramel biscuit malt. Like Oregon old growth in a can.

Waimea hops bring tangelo citrus and pine notes, while Southern Cross adds layers of lemon peel and spiciness. Enjoy lively fresh lime from Motueka alongside tropical fruit and lemon zest. Nelson Sauvin contributes crushed gooseberries, and Rakau brings stone fruit and fig. With 50% of the dry hop bill from Motueka, Rakau, and Southern Cross, you’ll experience a bold flavor that packs a punch!

Next stop for our Lager House series is Austria. Brewed with rich Vienna malt, this red lager pours a glowing amber with a creamy off white head.
