A New Zealand interpretation of an Old English classic.  

Obsidian-black with a velvety, tan head, our Milk Stout is traditionally brewed with non-fermentable lactose sugar for a luscious, full-bodied mouthfeel. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate, dried fruits, and bold coffee-and-cream flavours all descend on the senses, while soft roasted-malt bitterness keeps the sweetness in check.  Welcome to the dark side of craft beer. North End Brewing - Farmhouse brewers in Wallonia on the Belgian - French border produce incredibly complex and yet refreshing beers that combine spicy yeast cultures and light acidity.  We took these elements of Farmhouse brewing and combined them with locally grown Te Horo Blackberries to create an incredible fruity, tart and refreshing beer.  We think it's the perfect match to ripe Camembert and cured meats.

Blackberry Sour, 5% ABV.

Tantric Haze Hazy IPA was brewed to be as tantalizing and as rich of an experience possible. We knew we needed overwhelming fruity aromas so decided to ensure this had a massive double whirlpool hopping followed by a triple dryhopping starting on the first day of fermentation and continuing throughout until our yeasts had given all they could. 

We wanted a soft and supple bitterness that was enough to balance but gentle and forgiving thus we massaged our water chemistry. We didn't want to overpower the aroma and flavour the hops had to give, thus did not add any hops for the bittering into the boil. 

Lastly we needed a yeast that had the power to biotransform the massive hop quantities into a bold rich juiciness. Any element by itself is not standalone worthy but altogether combine into this sensually hazy IPA that we believe will deliver you an experience of love and enjoyment!

7.0 % ABV.

Would you like to taste an intriguing beer? Then Petrus RED is definitely something for you. A beer for those who dare to take a risk. It has a full and powerful taste, with a pleasant cherry flavour. Be warned: it’s a very smooth beer.

8.5% ABV

A velvet, creamy stout packing notes of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Brewed with lactose and a robust malt blend, this milk stout offers a satisfying sweetness that cuts against a light bitterness, brought together through an irresistible velvet texture.

4.4% ABV.

A silky and full stout from one of the fastest growing local craft beer breweries Panhead. They've specially imported caramelized oats to give this stout body and texture, it's big but balanced as is generally the case with anything from Panhead.

5.5% ABV.

With predominantly local hops and slightly above-average alcohol content, our Red IPA has the same confidence and individuality that characterise our own former colony. Tantalising passionfruit aromas give way to a delightful and unexpected combination of berries, tart ruby grapefruit and a comforting toasty malt on the palate, rounded off with a satisfying, sustained finish.

6.4% ABV

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour.  The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

A beer with body… the full flavour combined with the alcohol give you a warm feeling that slowly eases away.

Achel's regular dubbel, this dark amber , flavourful beer is a surprisingly refreshing brew at 8% alcohol by volume.

It is lightly filtered, but still wholesomely hazy with yeast remaining in the bottle.

Leffe Rituel 9 is produced with additional hops that give it a long and intense aftertaste: for this reason, tasting it is a real ritual.

Aroma: Touches of clove and vanilla, which then give way to hints of fresh banana.

Taste: The powerful aromas develop a spicy and distinct flavor in the mouth. The spicy, fruity and bitter aromas are perfectly balanced.

Red Stripe is a light, easy going Jamaican lager. 

4.7% ABV

Un Deux Trois is styled after the Belgian oude geuze ale. This is a blend of one, two and three year aged lambic beers. Lambics are known for their acidity and cider-like flavours.

6% ABV.

Emerson's - The orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus.  Which roughly translates as, a hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone.  In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out.  Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise.  Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

4.2% ABV.

A stout brewed with the addition of lactose sugar and a small dose of Dominican cacao nibs during fermentation.  The result is deliciously balanced, soft and creamy, with a toasty, dark chocolate finish.

6.1% ABV.
