Panhead - XPA means Extra Pale, a product of Quickchange's lighter malt base. That delicate colour though is undercut by a glorious hit of alpha oils from Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra hops. Sometimes you don't want your mouth flayed raw and your liver worked to a standstill. Sometimes a few luscious notes of mango, guava, lychee and pineapple can be just the thing.

BIRDSEYE

Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.

5.8% ABV.

Hatsukoi, meaning first love, is a Japanese inspired pilsner hat debuted during our Tokyo Taphouse pop up restaurant at 91 Aro Street. Brewed with light malted barley and rice using the traditional first press method. Clean, crisp with a delicate noble hop character.

Japanese Rice Lager - 5.5%

Brewed at the St Remy Abbey which has survived pillage and plunder during the Eighty Years War, The French Revolution, and a large fire in December of 2010. Rochefort 10 offers up a whole range of ripe fortified fruit and rich malt aromas and flavours. The beer has a range of stone and dried fruit notes, a spicy note and a big rich malt body.

11.3% ABV.

Orval is characterised by a fruity, earthy and slightly acidic bouquet. Its flavours are complex with distinct hoppy bitterness and a long, dry finish. Like all Trappist ales, Orval is sold only to fund the monastery itself and other charitable endeavors.
Pours cloudy orange with a thick, creamy off-white head. The smell is of lemon peel, tartness, and spicy sourdough. The taste is unique and complex. Tart lemon, spiced dough and a wine-like vinegar are all present, with a sharp hop bitterness. Only slight hints of alcohol are present. It's a wonderful sipping brew and a true world classic!

6.2% ABV

Duncan's - This beer is the Mango Lassi of east coast IPA's.  Brewed with mango, vanilla, lactose and a tonne of tropical fruity hops.

6.3% ABV.

La Chouffe is an unfiltered blonde beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg. It is pleasantly fruity, spiced with coriander, and with a light hop taste.

La Chouffe pours a clear, amber-gold colour, with a giant white head. The smell is strong, with sugar, alcohol and fruit (both dark and citrus) present. The taste is very sweet, with citrus, alcohol, and a biscuity aftertaste. An excellent beer that should not be missed.

8% ABV

RODENBACH Grand Cru is a aged Belgian red ale, consisting of one-third young beer and two-thirds oak-matured beer for two years. The result is a complex beer with a great deal of wood and esters, vinous and with a very long aftertaste, just like a vintage wine. 

Its taste is complex and rounded, intense and refreshing. It is characterised by an acidic, appley fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a touch of vanilla, cherry and liquorice. The aroma consists of touches of caramel and oak, as well as green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The slightly sour, fruity aftertaste is long and nicely balanced, just like a Grand Cru wine.

Michael Jackson rightly called this beer a "World Classic" and "the Burgundy of Belgium".

6% ABV

East Coast anthem IPA - A big ol' hop poppa of a beer, packing an intense mango, tropical fruit hit from US big guns, Simcoe and Mosaic. It's just bigger and juicier than its bitter West Coast counterpart, like sippin' hazy hop nectar from a can. It's all good.

Explicit Haze Warning: If cloudy beer offends you please drink from the can or close your eyes.

6.2% ABV

Refreshingly uncomplicated.

A Classic lager brewed with New Zealand’s distinctive and underappreciated Green Bullet hop.

4.5% ABV. 

A vintage dated strong Trappist ale with Ruby port styled flavours of rose petal  and a rich, warming finish. This trappist classic ages well and is bottled conditioned. It has 9% ABV.

Nectar is derived from the Greek word 'nektar,' the favoured drink of the Golds.  In our brewery, we favour Farmhouse style beer, and Saison Du Nectar hits the spot. 

The base beer is a Saison, the dried mango in the boil replaces the traditional Saison spices, yoghurt microbes create the sour character, and conditioning on the peaches adds the extra juiciness.  

The result is a tart, fruity, and refreshing flavour.

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste of results from the use of three different kinds of yeast. The result is a finish of peppery bitterness without aggression. The gray bottle hides a mystery awaiting discovery by the none faint of heart.

Cucumber Dill Pickle Sour

A clean, refreshing sour beer inspired by the burger’s classic companion - the dill pickle. Naturally kettle soured and infused with cucumber, dill, and pickle spice. This quirky refreshing beer would be the perfect playmate for the classic cheese burger, fish burger or any other pickle loving burger offering.
