La Chouffe is a strong Belgian blonde ale. The nose features lots of spice, citrus notes and stonefruit. On the palate the beer is rich and spicy with a lasting tangy finish.

Intensely rich with a velvety texture, our Double Cream Milk Stout contains a non-fermentable lactose sugar derived from 100% pure NZ milk. 

 Layering dark mocha, chocolate and liquorice aromatics, this creamy brew offers a luxurious drinking experience.

Our most popular beer, Dragon APA has a slightly sweet aroma with citrus and herbal pine flavours from Mosaic and Falconer’s Flight hops.

The use of Gladfield’s American Ale, Wheat and Medium Crystal malts provide an excellent base for a medium bodied and quaffable APA.

APA - 5.7% ABV.

This tripel is a strong blonde beer in which both the bitterness and the fruitiness of the hops make their presence felt. The recipe has recently been changed to include a higher proportion of aroma hops. It has a subtle aroma with touches of fruit and impressions of malt, cloves and flowers. The main taste is of fruit. It is a balanced beer that is never too bitter.  The alcohol comes to the fore in the finish. The Kasteel Tripel is the mother beer for the exclusive Trignac that is matured in brandy barrels.

11% ABV.

Roundest Boi Hazy IPA is lush and rich in the mouth with tropical fruit character from our choice of Amarillo, Wai-iti and Kohatu hops during dry-hopping along with those same hops added late in the boil. This thick and hazy beer is bursting with flavour and is perfect for the BBQ or a dinner party.

When we noticed the increasing popularity of Low Carb beers we knew we needed to try and make the world a better place with beer. We're happy to announce that we have done it! Bringing the big hop aroma and flavour the Epic is renowned for, to a beer that is both low card and tasty. You can thank us later.

At a low 4.8% it's light, has a dry finish & is less filling but leaves just enough hop intensity to coat your tongue with deliciousness.

As far as we know this could be the first craft low carb beer in the market and we have had it professionally tested to reveal it has less than half the carbs of Epic Pale Ale!

Colour and appearance: red amber, very dense fine white head. Fragrance: spicy, citrus, grapefruit, a hint of caramel in the nose. 

Flavour: full-bodied, intense and a touch of caramel. Together with the spicy, citrus-like bitterness, they give this beer a complex and very pleasant fresh, full and bitter aftertaste.

The aroma of Chouffe Cherry gives pride of place to cherries. It also reveals notes of strawberry, almond, spices and sweet Port. Round-bodied, soft and delicate, Chouffe Cherry delights the gourmands among us. It has a satisfying finish, with a very slight bitterness.

Rodenbach Classic sets the bar for Flemish red-brown ales. This ale owes its sweet and sour fruitiness and refreshing taste to the fact that it is partially matured in oak casks.

Saison Zest is the farmhouse ale made in the French speaking, Wallonian province of Belgium. Traditionally it was a refresher for tired and thirsty farm labourers. 

Saison Zest is a modern interpretation, a stronger full flavoured brew. Orange of hue with a big rocky head, aged for two months in the bottle. We've chosen a simple grain bill that showcases Gladfield's superb malts and added Orange Zest. Paired with floral and citrusy hops, our saison yeast imparts massive character and a dry finish. We believe Zest will refresh and sustain the farm worker or office shirker. Enjoy in moderation, it's stronger than it seems! Unfiltered and unpasteurised in the traditional manner, for full flavour. 

Serve at cellar temperature: 8- 12C in a goblet Organic Pilsner malt, candi sugar and orange zest, Crystal malts, hops, yeast water.

generously hopped Pilsner takes the Bohemian style of aromatic lager and reforms it with a generous dose of Nelson grown hops. Citrus, spice and tropical fruit float over a sweet malt base before a firm bitter finale. A revelation of Kiwi ingenuity

Golden-yellow and bright, with 32 bitter units and quite hoppy compared to most of the other Pils their Weihenstephaner Pils comes up with a distinctive aroma of hops with a pleasant bitterness. This combination provides a balanced mix and guarantees great enjoyment

A fruity fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt and caramel on the full bodied palate. An excellent accompaniment for hearty meals.
