The appellation
Our Puligny-Montrachet mostly comes from a 1.1 ha plot located in the AOC Puligny 1er cru “Les Chalumeaux” which was downgraded to village when it was replanted in 1975 by the INAO because the former owner had brought around 20cm of exogenous soil, which is prescribed by the AOC specifications. It is the only village vine located in the middle of the hillside, in the middle of the 1er Crus. Over the years, both erosion and our organic practices resulted in the roots plunging deeper towards the original terroir. This explains how come our Puligny-Montrachet shows unusual density and complexity for a village wine. The other two plots
are “Les Levrons” and “Boudrières – Nosroyes” for 0.38 ha.
The wine and the style
After a light settling, the musts are put into 228 and 600-literbarrels to complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. We work with 5 to 20% new barrels with wood coming mostly from Allier, light toasting. The wines are racked about a year
later before being transfered to stainless steel vats for the second phase of their aging in order to retain freshness and minerality.
Vine growing
Organic since 1995 and biodynamic since 2005. All our wines
are certified by Ecocert.

Unit price perLes Griottes is a perfect example of what makes good Beaujolais so popular. It's made from the youngest vines on the estate so it's all about fresh fruit flavours and juicy acidity. It is called Les Griottes because the bottom of the vineyard is lined with cherry, wild cherry and morello cherry (griotte) trees.
It's a fruit driven Beaujolais with spicy intense cherry flavours, just like its name suggests.
This wine represents great value for money as it shows what good Beaujolais is about.
Drink lightly chilled.

Unit price perGrape Variety : Chardonnay and Chardonnay Muscaté
Soil : Clay, chalk and marl
Site : In the heart of the Mâcon wine growing region, South of Burgundy. The two villages Viré and Clessé form a unique "terroir" on slopes facing South-East. In Viré, the soil is chalky with large layers of clay. In Clessé , the soil structure is slightly different with a combination of chalk and clay mixed with liasic marls combined with
oyster- fossils which convey to the wine a specific minerality. This is one of the best white wines of the region combining suppleness and minerality.
The Vintage 2019 : After a mild winter, spring settled down with important variations of temperatures and abundant rain which engendered millerandage (small berries). Summer was warm punctuated by several heat waves and a few thunderstorms épisodes which brought some water. The harvest started mid september under a bright sunshine. After a mild pressing, the wines are aged in oak casks for a period of 12 up to 14 months in our XVth century cellar.
Tasting : Pale gold colour. Rrefreshing floral fragrances mixed with white and yellow orchard fruit on a hint of minerality. Well-balanced and precise.Refreshing finish with lemony tinges Food pairing : A fine, dry apéritif, great with light seafood and raw vegetable hors d'oeuvres.

Unit price perChablis is the northernmost wine region in Burgundy, which produces only Chardonnay. The cooler climate gives these wines crispness, acidity and a flinty minerality.
This wine is fresh and pure with an underlying minerality. The palate reveals notes of citrus combined with spicy aromas (fennel, lime blossom, cinnamon and hawthorn). Billaud-Simon wines offer exceptional ageing potential and will evolve well over time.

Here Alex follows in his father's footsteps with some of his tried and tested techniques; whole-cluster fermentation with natural yeasts, no fining or filtration, and no additives of any kind save for a minute sulphur dose at bottling. About the producer
Meo-Camuzet is one of the undisputed star estates of Burgundy, located in the heart of the prestigious Vosne-Roman´e. Until 1988 most of the domaine's holdings were leased out to other vignerons and amazingly most of the wine was sold off to négociants in bulk. Today, it is a very different story. Meo Camuzet now has over 2.5 hectares of grands Crus and 8 hectares of some of the finest Premier Cru vineyards of Nuits-St-Georges and Vosne-Romanée.
Jean-Nicolas Meo and Christian Faurois now run the Domaine and together they produce some of the very best wine in the Côte d'Or. Meo Camuzet produces full-bodied, firm, rich, oaky, concentrated wines, which no serious Burgundy drinker should overlook.
