This beautiful, deep russet brew is dominated by a chocolate and brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, producing a very smooth, well-balanced, and quaffable brown ale. Originally named Elle's Brown Ale after Adam Avery's beloved chocolate lab, however one Cease and Desist letter from a certain fashion publication later, this classic American Brown Ale was renamed as Ellie. Elle didn't mind. Ellie's Brown Ale has all the characteristics of its namesake; friendly, mellow, and a little nutty. As Adam's best friend, she came with him to work everyday and was a steadfast companion for all his climbing adventures. Elle is missed, but she lives on in this beer as the mascot on the label.

A true Munich Pale Lager

On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Purity Law, our brewers developed a new beer in a new package in 2016, using the pale lager from Hofbräuhaus. "Hofbräuhaus Hell" is a smooth, easy-drinking, and pleasantly hopped Munich pale lager. A delight for all beer connoisseurs who appreciate the traditional Bavarian lifestyle! A Belgian interpretation of a Scottish Wee Heavy. Big chewy dark malt aromas blend with warm fruit. On the palate there is a rich malt profile, some orchard fruit and a fruity smooth finish.

BREWER'S NOTES
Brewed to 4.1%, this tawny-coloured premium ale borrows sweet raisin, biscuit and dried-fruit notes from the Crystal malt, while fresh, piney herbs emanate from the hops. Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

The unique blend of Northdown, Target, Challenger and Goldings hops imparts grassy, peppery notes on the tongue along with intense citrus fruit characters of grapefruits, oranges and lemons. The blend of Pale Ale and Crystal malts in the brew give a biscuity, toffee element to the beer. A smooth, mellow bitterness lingers on the palate to give a superbly satisfying finish. Featured in the Michael Jackson 500. 

At 8.5% ABV, Golden Pride guarantees a superb range of flavours. Full flavoured, and reminiscent of sweet orange oil, toastedgrains, and bread. Rich malty aromas lead to a similarly styled palate,with an intense finish. Sweet and bitter flavours are expressed in goodbalance in this weighty brew.' Itis brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for acreamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range offlavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from richmeat dishes, to oysters,and even chocolate puddings.

Warming, Malty and Fruity. Pale and amber malts contribute to a mouth filling and satisfying 'Horlicks' and biscuity maltiness. Challenger and First Gold give a base note of herbal hop and Fuggle as a late hop contributes the main fragrant fruity and floral and spicy notes. Fermented slowly to give just enough fruity esters Abbot Ale provides a complex, satisfying and warming experience.
