This frambozenbier, or raspberry beer, is brewed using Bacchus Oud Bruin which sets it apart from most raspberry beers that are based on lambic or geuze. The standout characteristic of this beer is its beautiful balance between sour and sweet with aromas of very sweet raspberries, malt and earthy yeast. Bacchus Frambozenbier is mild and slightly sour with hints of balsamic vinegar. It sparkles on the tongue and has plenty of body. The roast malt contributes a slight touch of caramel. The finish is dominated by sweet raspberries and a mild sourness.

Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. Grand Cru differs from other beers by its absence of spices and a traditional dry hopping with Styrian Golding hops in bloom. Every year on the 24th of February, the birthday of "Charles the fifth", the Brewery brews the Gouden Carolus "Cuvee of the Emperor" in a limited quantity and with an eye on the highest quality and tradition. This unique brewing, with only extra fine Belgian hops and with a higher alcohol level, guarantees a better evolution in the time, than the already known Gouden Carolus. This beer, as all our beers, is 100 % natural, with no preservatives, no adjuncts and no chemicals. We bottle it in bottles of 750ml and closed with a quality cork. Excellent to store several years.

This specialty winter ale  is characterized by its deep dark colour, with a creamy, thick head and a full, almost velvety taste with a fruity nose.

In line with the Dupont tradition, this is a top-fermented blond beer, re-fermented in the bottle. The hops used for the “dry hopping” are different every year. This year, three distinctive hop varieties were selected. For the dry hopping, brews were made from the Styrian Wolf variety, grown in Slovenia. The result is a coppery, blond beer which is dry and refreshing with strong bitterness. Bottle re-fermentation, which may be extended by a long period in the cellar, produces a complex and highly aromatic beer.

The Famous Taddy Porter

Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), malted barley, roasted malt, yeast and hops. Fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’.

Our house yeast and Clean Fusion process keep the profile sharp and focused, allowing mango, passionfruit, peach and bright citrus oils to shine with clarity and snap. It’s expressive, but controlled. Radiant, but refined.

Soft in body, explosive in aroma, and dialled with intention, this is a DDH IPA that glows long after the first sip - a wash of tropical heat and citrus sparkle that settles into a smooth, luminous finish.

Kasteel - Kasteel Rouge is based on our Kasteel Donker. This fruity beer makes a great aperitif on a sunny terrace. It’s certainly a beer for lovers of sweet cherries with an intense aroma of the fruit. The cherries get the better of the malt in the Kasteel Donker mother beer, although it contributes touches of chocolate and pepper to remind you it’s there. It is surprisingly easily digestible for quite a strong beer.
