Mena Dhu stout is complex and flavoursome, yet deceptively light and refreshing. A subtle oak smoked aroma sets the scene for a delicious flavour profile that entices with a hint of dark chocolate, followed by a delicate touch of liquorice on the finish.
It’s brewed using a blend of six malts – traditional and pale malts for richness and depth, chocolate and smoked malts for a distinctive taste, and malted oats and roasted barley malts to enhance the finish.
Based on an original Cornish recipe, Mena Dhu means ‘black hill’ in Cornish and is named after the farm that was owned by Walter Hicks, the founder of St Austell Brewery.

Unit price perIn line with the Dupont tradition, this is a top-fermented blond beer, re-fermented in the bottle. The hops used for the “dry hopping” are different every year. This year, three distinctive hop varieties were selected. For the dry hopping, brews were made from the Styrian Wolf variety, grown in Slovenia. The result is a coppery, blond beer which is dry and refreshing with strong bitterness. Bottle re-fermentation, which may be extended by a long period in the cellar, produces a complex and highly aromatic beer.

Unit price perOn this beer we had the immense pleasure of working with two of the absolute best—3 sons brewing out of Florida and Bottle Logic out of California.
Andromeda is big, bold, thick and saturated with toasted coconut and wheat/rye whiskey. We love it dearly. It took almost two years to make and after soaking up all the Buffalo Trace Experimental Wheated Rye Whiskey in the wet barrels we hunted down, it has reached 15 alcohol by volume.
Poured into a tulip this beer moves slow. Hard pour for deep dark foam that dissipates quickly into spirit whiff and deep fudgy coconut. Savor like a praline.

Unit price perCity Limits is a new Cali IPA inspired by the easy-drinking, hop-forward beers we enjoyed on the West Coast of the US. We’ve made a super simple change by using just extra pale pilsner malt, Citra and Krush - two of our favourite hops right now - and a plain Joe yeast strain. This unobstructed approach allows the hops to pop right off and express themselves while keeping it easy and super breezy to drink. Bright beer, tight hops, forever sippable. Slip in, the water’s nice.

Unit price perThis tripel is a strong blonde beer in which both the bitterness and the fruitiness of the hops make their presence felt. The recipe has recently been changed to include a higher proportion of aroma hops. It has a subtle aroma with touches of fruit and impressions of malt, cloves and flowers. The main taste is of fruit. It is a balanced beer that is never too bitter. The alcohol comes to the fore in the finish. The Kasteel Tripel is the mother beer for the exclusive Trignac that is matured in brandy barrels.
