Terroir Blend 2019 is a blend of 2 year old spontaneously fermented beer from Garage Project's Wild Workshop and 1 and 3 year old  spontaneously fermented beer from Craftwork. A bit different to previous blends we have done which are usually a blend of multiple one year old spons. It was bottled in 2020.

Terroir Blend is based on the Megablend from Belgium. It is the expression of one year old spontaneously fermented 'Lambic style' beer from multiple breweries. We are excited that there are quite a few other brewers in NZ now brewing spontaneously fermented beers.
This is a blend of one-year-old 'spon' from Cell Division (Dunedin), Wilderness (Christchurch) and Craftwork.

Food pairing: sliced apples. Mussels, waterzooi, Thai green curry, strong goat’s cheese, fish, bread and butter.

The Bugle is a lovely session ale, coming in at 3.5%. 

A modern NZ take on the pub ales of old. Built for balance and drinkability, the Bugle is golden in colour, with a soft malt sweetness and a restrained bitterness. It is lightly hopped with a classic blend of NZ Hops which bring subtle notes of citrus and tropical fruit. 

Field Way combines 4 different fruity New Zealand grown hop varieties to create complex aromas and flavours of sweet lemon, lime, and mandarin marmalade with a hint of the herb garden. To balance all this zesty hop character we use one of our favourite base malts, the Pale Ale Malt from the Malteurope Maltings at Marton in the Rangitikei and a dash of toffee tinged caramalt malt from the Bairds Maltings in Scotland. The result is a hoppy fruity yet well balanced pale ale that makes a perfect foil to a chilli oil laced pizza at Long Beach.

5.8% ABV.

generously hopped Pilsner takes the Bohemian style of aromatic lager and reforms it with a generous dose of Nelson grown hops. Citrus, spice and tropical fruit float over a sweet malt base before a firm bitter finale. A revelation of Kiwi ingenuity

5% ABV.

Like Slacklining styling a sour beer requires superb balance.  Too far in either direction and it's not going to end well.

The tartness of this kettle-soured Gose (that's pronounced "Goes-uh") is balanced by the tropical combo of mango and guava and a dose of sea salt.

Not too sour and not too salty, Slackline Mango and Guava is simply a beautifully refreshing drop!

4.0% ABV.

"This award winning ale is called "Elemental" porter. It is a classic English porter. It is a medium bodied beer with chocolate, and roasted notes. Extremely well balanced and hopped using a New Zealand hop variety."

A crisp NZ Pilsner brewed with freshly harvested Pacifica hops from NZ Hops farm in Nelson, Tasman. Grown in the heart of NZ’s hop country, they bring a bright, fresh-from-the-field character that shines through a clean, dry, and refreshing pilsner base. Brewed once, enjoyed fresh.

Night Ryder is a rich and rewarding chocolate rye stout. Delicious dark roasted malts and American hops deliver outstanding balance along with malted oats for a silky finish.

When chilled, Night Ryder offers subtle coffee notes and as it warms you'll discover rich chocolate flavours and a hint of spice from the rye malt. Enjoy the ride!

Liberty Brewing Co. - Halo Pilsner is quite positively a monument of New Zealand Pilsner proudly brewed with glorious Gladfield malts and a free rein of Nelson hops.

You can expect a good lashing of zesty lime citrus peel accented with tropical passion fruit, all shining proudly above rye-cracker malt drizzled with subtle sweet caramel.

5.4% ABV.

Urbanaut - Miami Brut Lager is an endless vacation.  Tropical summer notes walk hand-in-hand with a crisp refreshing flavour that will keep you dancing on the shore from dusk till dawn.  Serve chilled.  Wearing loud colours - speedboat optional.

Little Rock IPA Non-Alcoholic <0.5% - 330ml Cans

DRINK FRESH and bust out the big moves with this full-flavoured non-alcoholic IPA! Tropical aromatics ride up front with huge notes of blueberry, stone fruit, white grapes and crushed gooseberries from the Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops. THUNDERBIRD  |  BRIGHT IPA

They say its wings bring thunder and its eyes flash lightning, but the Thunderbird’s intensity is benevolent, its appearance a good omen. This bright IPA borrows its name to give a fresh retelling to a familiar story by keeping things lean, lucid and enlivening. Its dazzling tropical character comes thanks to modern hop varieties from North America, where these tales were first told.
