Citrus, passionfruit, berries and stone fruit aromatics from the Strata CGX, Mosaic Cryo and Riwaka hops with a dank undercurrent of resinous pine and woody spice from Medleaf’s Sour Diesel terpene oil blend.

Whitewater Hazy Series # 8 paddles straight into the unknown with an unreleased experimental hop from our friends at Clayton Hops, still going by the suitably mysterious CIP 014. We did our due diligence by shoveling the entire box into the beer, then giving it a gentle love tap of Riwaka. The result is straight POG juice - loud, lush and wildly tropical - with big aroma, juicy flavour, and a rich, smooth, soft-as finish.

ABV: 6.2%

Hopped like an IPA, but sitting on a light Pilsner malt base. Big bursts of citrus and tropical fruit thanks to Nectaron, Taiheke & Citra hops. Deliciously refreshing, with a dry bitterness to round it out.

Sake bomb, Sake bomb, sake bomb...hey. Following our well received collab with ZenKuro sake brewery in 2019 we have teamed up again, this time with a different approach. Sake bomb beer in one neat package...Not quite - but we have brewed a beautiful golden pilsner with locally grown southland hops and then re-fermented it with sake kasu (rice starch by product of sake production). Making a lovely easy going beer that pairs well with Japanese food and contains subtle aromas of rice wine matched with stonefruit. Just remember your chant before drinking!

4.9% ABV.

From NZ's first dedicated non-alcoholic craft brewery, State of Play is brewed in the sunny Hawkes Bay using New Zealand hops and Canterbury malt to create a full flavoured IPA.

Using a special yeast, this beer is naturally brewed, retaining all the flavour while only producing a tiny amount of alcohol that is less than 0.5% ABV.

Aliment's new core range IPA. Fittingly it's a nod to Vermont, the US state where Jason was weaned on Grade B maple syrup, long winters & stellar powder days. And - yes - it's UNFILTERED. Shockingly it isn’t green given the lavish dollops of Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Pacifica in every drop. But - no surprise - it’s a banger! Sticky dank cannabis, fresh lemon zest & rich, ripe tropical fruit notes coat the palate to proper bitterness & a gloriously long hoppy finish. One pint & - jeezum crow! - you’re in a Green Mountain state of mind.

ABV: 5.9%

Our latest addition is a golden lager. It’s been on our radar for a while, and up till now, it’s impossible to brew. We have found a new yeast specific for zeros that can work well with wheat and barley to brew an all-malt lager. A quality Golden lager needs quality ingredients and this all NZ beer delivers! The grains of Canterbury give the body of Riwaka hops the finish. Enjoy

This is Ultra IPA - five different US hop varieties, 100 IBU’s and a massive malt grist to match - a can load of weaponised hop firepower. Warning - proceed with the utmost caution.

Liberty Brewing - Originally brewed for the West Coast IPA Challenge in 2013, the name of this beer wasn't always planned to be so grotesque.  You see...  I had penned the name pretty much every hop variety i could get from the USA thrown in.  However, whilst filling the kegs for this esteemed competition, a song came on Spotify and made the task so much more enjoyable that i decided to change the name.  But let's face it: Yakima Kitchen Sink was a bit of rubbish really!

Anyhow, regardless of the name the beer continued to take out the champion spot which was one of the proud moments in my life.  It's just a shame i wasn't there to enjoy the celebrations!

Garage Project - DFA is dead, long live DFA.  Demus Favorem Amori - 'we choose to stand for love'.  DFA, a surprising blend of flavours marrying mango, Vietnamese mint, lime and chilli with the high citrus hit of centennial, amarillo and citra hops.  The result is a deliciously intense tryst of bittersweet heat.  Tropical fruit and citrus hop character, coming together to create a beer of rich, satisfying balance.

Emerson's - The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus.  Which roughly translate as, a hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone.  In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out.  Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise.  Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

4.2% ABV.

Taieri George is named after the most important Emerson of all – Richard’s Dad. Not only was he a founding member of the Taieri Gorge Railway, he was also the brewery’s original Chief Beer Taster. He particularly enjoyed this drop, brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg and Otago clover honey. In his memory, we release this brew on his birthday. Here’s to you, George.

If you've been mowing your super-long lawn, running super-fast, or out in the super-hot sun, you'll need to super-quench your super-thirst. This Pacific Pilsner has been dry-hopped with NZ and US hops to make it super-tasty, while its light body and crisp finish make it super-refreshing. At just 4% ABV, and 40% lower in carbs, you can feel slightly-smug too.

4.0 % ABV.
