In a world full of over-complicated, fast-paced nonsense, we have stripped things back to what really matters: honest, hard-working hops and a solid malt backbone. This classic, big, bold West Coast IPA is here to remind you of a simpler time. Whatever you put in your mouth is your business, but if it comes from us, you know we will fill you up down to your belly with tegridy. Flavours: A robust, classic grist of Ale, Munich, wheat, dextrine, and light crystal malts delivers a rich, balancing sweetness to hold up the heavy hop load. Columbus Cryo brings a modern, punchy bite of dank pine, black pepper, and intense citrus, laying a solid foundation for El Dorado’s bright pineapple notes. Dolcita hops finish the job, bringing a fresh-breed wave of ripe peach, orange, and sweet piña colada character over a clean, dry, and assertively bitter finish.

Parrot Dog - Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It’s matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt. 

5.8% ALC./VOL.

When the cliché was coined that dogs are humanity’s best friends, it was a Greyhound they had in mind. Whether your plans involve a run or a rest, a greyhound is up for joining in. We’ve dedicated our low carb hazy pale ale to them, and kept it fittingly lean and easy-going, with sparkling citrus hop characters, good balance, and a crisp finish.

4.3% ABV.

The perfect companion for a sun-drenched Tuesday afternoon. Or any other day for that matter. Session beers were first brewed for their low alcohol content and uncompromised flavour, the result of lofty tax rates and government rationing during WWI. But low alcohol doesn’t have to mean less flavour, and the Nelson Pale Ale certainly isn’t lacking in any of the good stuff.

Riwaka and Galaxy hops provide a strong, clean bitterness that makes this aromatic session ale easy drinking and refreshing.

Duncan’s x Apostle

Back with our spicy sidekicks Apostle. We’ve taken inspiration from the magic of Saint Isidore. Passionfruit & pineapple bring a tropical party, habanero throws the heat, & a hint of mint keeps it fresh, all on top of a smooth corn & barley base. Tangy, vibrant, with just the right kick. Like a blessing with a bit of bite!

From lunar mountains to the plains of Moutere. Montes is a hop forward NZIPA that combines Southern Cross and Eggers Special hops for a cosmic hit of citrus, tropical fruit and spice.

The taste of Kiwi hay paddocks and sunshine, bright fresh fruity New Zealand hop aromas (passionfruit, mango, citrus) layered over a firm biscuity malt backbone.

Refreshing and complex. As far as we are concerned the crucial element for a perfect summer.

Beer and ballet - an unusual Pas de Deux. Brewed by Garage Project for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Hops on Pointe teases the boundaries between high and low culture.

Brewed with premium German Pilsner malts, aromatic Nelson Sauvin hops and finished with a champagne yeast, the result is a pale gold lager with a crisp, clean palate, rich tropical fruit aromas and tight champagne bubbles.
