Prepare yourself for a punchy bright IPA packed with Chinook, Simcoe, Mosaic and Columbus Cryo, bringing bold bitterness balanced with juicy malt, big grapefruit citrus, mangoes, sweet berry and just the dankest little hint of the zaza. The truth is out there.

Welcome to the joint venture project, a series of brewhouse two-headers featuring Boneface and some of our favorite brewers. Smash is nifty shorthand for a single malt and single hop brew, the perfect strategy to plot with Hop Federation, Motueka's lupulin pioneers in the heart of the hop capital. Together we're coaxing the NZH-109 variety to show us its good side in this gloriously fragrant Pale Ale.

Sometimes you just need to drop anchor, cast a line, and take in the sea breeze. This luscious and refreshing hazy pale ale invites you to cool off among juicy waves of stone fruit, tropical notes, citrus, and pine in this maritime marriage of NZ and US hops. Leave the shoreline behind, and spend some time on the sea.

Lakeman is truly Taupo proud, and this New Zealand Pale Ale pays homage to our home. It is brewed with iconic Kiwi hops Riwaka and Moutere, giving bursts of passion fruit and citrus on an approachable malt.

A New Zealand take on an American style Pale Ale, combining big citrus & tropical hop character, medium bitterness and a light yet present malt bill.  Refreshing & crushable!

Aotearoa Series #65 | Ironclad Co. Hazy Pale Ale

This 5.5% Hazy Pale Ale brings together the best of New Zealand's hop innovation - Motueka and Riwaka deliver bold tropicals and ripe stone fruit, while NZH-112 adds a clean citrus edge with bright lemon-lime character. 

Soft and juicy with low bitterness, this beer balances haze with lift, offering freshness, drinkability and depth. A vibrant local expression of what a modern hazy pale ale can be. 

Brewed in collaboration with the masters in cast iron, Ironclad Co.

This 5.2% Double Dry hopped Pale Ale serves up a delicious medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Fermented with Vermont Yeast, packed full of Citra and Mosaic Hops and Dry Hopped with enhanced pellets it’s a punchy combination of fruity, tropical and citrus notes! (Store Cold)

Can art inspired from the mountains we day dream about all summer long. Named after the little board shuffle done by all us amateurs.

Brewed with a choice combination of Barley, Wheat and three types of Oats it pours a hazy pale straw colour. The mouthfeel is oily and silky, the body sweet and prominent all rounded out with the lightest of crisp bitter finishes to get you quaffing back for more.

This all combined with our very own house New England yeast tees up the perfect platform to showcase this styles most important attribute, the hops. Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot and Azacca all come out to play to deliver an explosion of orange peel, mango, melon and pine, enough oil to grease your teeth!
