Imagination distillery is nestled in the bush, down a gravel drive, off a single lane road, in the Reikorangi Valley, Kapiti Coast, Aotearoa New Zealand. It's the place where New Zealand's trail-blazing craft brewery, Tuatara, was born and so there's a real sense of 'something in the air' around the place. Spiritual even.

Basilic is a basil-flavoured liqueur from Briottet which is made by macerating basil flowers and leaves in an alcohol-water solution. This is a very pure expression of basil which makes a great addition to summery cocktails.

The sweet and sharp taste of raspberries is remarkably infused by Briottet's maceration process. This cr?me de framboise is best served pure as a digestif or mixed with white and sparkling wines, as an aperitif or cocktail, or can be used to pour over desserts. 

Traditionally made using the dried peel of the small Curacao orange, named after the island of Curacao in the Caribbean, Curacao liqueurs can be clear, blue or orange. The colours are purely decorative, but the bitter orange flavours are very similar. The Curacao fruits are sliced and macerated in fine neutral spirit to extract the flavours. Once the blend has been enhanced with sugar and brandy, it is then left to marry for several weeks to develop its full flavour. Knocknaveagh is the flagship gin for The Cambridge Distillery Company, named after the homestead from which a journey of discovery commenced in 1862.

The “Cambridge Dry” Style, conceived as the counter point to a London Dry, nods respectfully to tradition but brings a twist of modernity.

To complement the base foundations of juniper, coriander, and angelica, a selection of additional botanicals including cardamon, grapefruit, black pepper, and chamomile take you in a new and exciting direction, away from a juniper heavy blend whilst still invoking the past.
