The sweet and sharp taste of raspberries is remarkably infused by Briottet's maceration process. This crème de framboise is best served pure as a digestif or mixed with white and sparkling wines, as an aperitif or cocktail, or can be used to pour over desserts.

A seven year old 'Solera' rum from Dominican producer Matusalem. Great in cocktails, but more than good enough to be sipped.

Nose: Sweet spices, barrel char and caramel. Fruity.

Palate: Vanilla and honeyed sweetness. Brandy butter and crème caramel. Mixed peels.

Finish: Candied peels and spice.

This was first produced in Santiago de Cuba over 130 years ago. It is aged using the Solera process, so on average the rums contained herein are 15 years old.

Nose: Caramel & vanilla.

Palate: There's still some piquant heat on the palate coupled to a hint of almond/cherry pit, and the body comes across as ample but balanced.

Finish: A medium finish with Vanilla and a hint of wood.

Beginning with the very first sniff and all the way until the crisp concise finish, the tasty anise is the star. Aguardiente is typically taken as a shot but may also be utilized as a creative ingredient in many beverages; it would also pair fantastically with grilled meat, frybread, tropical fruits, or hard cheese.

Colombia's national alcoholic beverage is Aguardiente and Cristal is produced with water from its own springs, treated and micro-filtered, which is one of the differentiating factors of this aniseed alcoholic beverage that results in the blend of fine and natural essential oils of anise and fennel.
