The Rangpur is an exotic citrus that has the zestiness of lime and the juiciness of mandarin oranges. Rangpur, ginger and bay leaves are added to Tanquerays base of four botanicals during distillation, resulting in an easy-drinking gin with a citrus twist.

LOOKS: Bright. Crystalline. 

SMELLS: Classic juniper, in an instant. Subtle floral hints of lavender & orange blossom follow close by. Deeper earthy tones of cinnamon bark & nutmeg arrive next, but be prepared for a fresh burst of multiple citrus to linger longer. 

TASTES: Full frontal assault to the palate, a juniper & orange zest mixture. Closely followed by sweet lemon, taking over your entire palate. Minimum heat, minimum burn. Frontal palate flavours dominate, with small floral notes on the back palate. Jasmine and lavender, quite delicious. 

FINISH: A warming numbness with continued juniper. Surprisingly long finish, coming back with waves of orange & mixed floral notes. Dry Gin, at its prime.

Metaxa is a Greek distilled spirit invented by Spyros Metaxas in 1888. It is a blend of brandy and wine made from sun-dried Savatiano, Sultana and Black Corinth grape varieties. Crafted by Bec Kay and her team at The Bond Store  for the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden.  Key botanicals include kawakawa leaf, and from the  Botanic Garden, a hint of rosehip. The result is a dry  and crisp London gin that reflects the complexity  and beauty of a garden.

Our Rimurimu and Thyme gin offers a savoury blend of rimurimu (native kelp) and aromatic thyme, creating a unique coastal kitchen character with subtle umami notes and a strong juniper presence. Briottet's Peppermint Liqueur is produced by distilling mint leaves, mainly peppermint leaves, and then by adding some fine sugar. This is a pure, well-balanced and very refreshing liqueur.

The Potager Gin is a citrus-forward gin with floral notes, hand-crafted and single-shot distilled in small batches. This gin compliments our range with a unique flavour profile reminiscent of a french kitchen garden.

Botanicals:

Juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root, lemon, orange, grapefruit, basil, nettle and rose hip.

IMAGINATION - Rhubarb and Raspberry gin is inspired by the New Zealand summer which is when both of these ingredients are at their best.  We gently extract the juice from the rhubarb and raspberries and blend of it with a dry gin designed specifically for this recipe.  The floral aroma of orris root is prominent on the nose with juniper, coriander and manuka maintaining the delicate piney heart of this gin.  Whole New Zealand navel oranges and lemons create a citrus complement to the fruity base with cinnamon, licorice and the orris root ensuring a surprisingly sweet spice finish.
