Made in small batches using only the heart of the Tequila distillate. Arette does not allow the heads and tails to re-enter the distillation process creating a smooth, cool, pleasant and sophisticated style. You can taste the difference.

Pale amber brown in color. Citrus scented with hints of dried grass and exotic fruits. Aromas of almonds, walnuts and vanilla lead to a distinctive finish with hints of black pepper. A very smooth, elegant and com­ plex Anejo.

Aged for a minimum of 20 months.

Plantation 3 Stars is a crisp, tasty white rum made by blending spirit produced in Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados. Some of the rums in the blend are aged, though their colour is removed via a process of carbon filtration.

Nose: Hints of dried coconut and guava. A little honey too, and soft spice.

Palate: Spiced palate entry. Creamy vanilla custard, fresh sugar cane honey and even a hint of agave.

Finish: Floral finish. Zinging spices.

A reassuringly rich Demerara blend from the 1930's containing 7 dark rums, each patiently aged in Guyana for at least 3 years. Skipper Rum is distilled from sugar cane and molasses and patiently oak-aged in warehouses on the banks of the Demerara in Guyana before being exported. The continuous distillation and maturation process takes place in Trinidad, the southernmost island of the Caribbean. STOLEN Gold Rum matures for a minimum of four years in individually chosen charred American oak bourbon barrels.

 A selection of light and heavy molasses-based rums are then carefully blended by hand. The result is a golden amber hue with butterscotch and cinnamon spice aromas on the nose with a smooth and buttery finish in the mouth.

Chris and Elliot spent the good part of 18 months searching for the perfect oak aged Caribbean rum. Many taste tests were conducted with friends and family before finally settling on their first cask.

They then started tinkering with spicing the rum right here in New Zealand, blending the rich history of the Caribbean with the adventurous spirit of New Zealand. 

The subtle caramel sweetness of the rum with a vanilla back bone allowed the beautiful spices to come through, highlighting local citrus, nutmeg and clove.

The infusion became more refined and complex, through out lock down. And by the end they were happy with the result. Let the bottling begin!

The Boys from Blush have done it again, beautiful fresh Boysenberries from Nelson infused with hand crafted New Zealand Gin. Soft and smooth our second Blush Gin is a little different, this is the first boysenberry Gin the world has ever seen.

Bright red berry fruit bursts allowing the Juniper and citrus to work away in the background providing a beautiful finish. We aim to tickle the pallet, try over ice and top up with your favourite mixer. Someone said it would be dangerously good over ice cream too? We don’t disagree. 

IMAGINATION - Rhubarb and Raspberry gin is inspired by the New Zealand summer which is when both of these ingredients are at their best.  We gently extract the juice from the rhubarb and raspberries and blend of it with a dry gin designed specifically for this recipe.  The floral aroma of orris root is prominent on the nose with juniper, coriander and manuka maintaining the delicate piney heart of this gin.  Whole New Zealand navel oranges and lemons create a citrus complement to the fruity base with cinnamon, licorice and the orris root ensuring a surprisingly sweet spice finish.
