Svitlo is bottled in central Ukraine in the region of Cherkasy, on the Dnipro river.

Why is Svitlo a better quality Vodka?
Ukraine?s farmland has incredibly fertile soil and
is regarded as the breadbasket of Europe. This fertility creates an abundance of grain, and greater abundance means broader selection for distillation.

How is Svitlo made during the war?
Our manufacturing facility is 380 km from the frontline. The site follows strict protocols for evacuation in the event of any threat, with advance warnings routinely supplied by the Ukrainian military.
With a large portion of working aged men at war, Svitlo is made by a workforce dominated by women, with over 70% staff currently employed and the majority
of departments run by women.

This whisky is a story of provenance. A single malt shaped by an icon of Australian red wine. This special Starward Projects release has been aged in Yalumba’s The Octavius Shiraz 100L octave-sized barrels. Maturing in these hand-coopered vessels has led to intense interaction between wood and whisky. The elegant flavours of this distinctive Barossa old vine shiraz has left its mark. It’s a full-bodied and plump expression. Aromas of raisin, ripe peach and caramel meld with red and dark forest fruit characters. Toasty oak and marshmallow have been extracted from the oak barrel staves, leaving a long and rich finish.

Aged for full term maturation in ex-peated quarter casks, our Peated Cask Single Malt Whisky is part of our Cask Expressions Collection. A delightful and moreish cask strength single malt with subtle hints of peat smoke on the palate which complement the vanilla notes from the oak and the fruitiness of our single malt spirit. Think 'smoky vanilla ice cream', as our distillers like to describe it!

This cask strength beast contains malt from all 28 of the Diageo distilleries, including Auchroisk, Benrinnes, Blair Athol, Caol Ila, Cardhu, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Dailuane, Dalwhinnie, Dufftown, Glendullan, Glen Elgin, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie, Glen Ord, Glen Spey, Inchgower, Knockando, Lagavulin, Linkwood, Mannochmore, Mortlach, Oban, Roseisla, Royal Lochnager, Strathmill, Talisker and Teaninich. The quantitates of each are unknown and it's likely that some of the rarer whiskies are in minimal amounts, but what a great way to try whisky from a whole slew of distilleries  in one hit.

A Speyside single malt from the Balmenach distillery bottled by the independent bottler Hart Brothers. It was bottled in October 2021 at a natural cask strength of 58,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release.

Oranges, sour candy and black fruit like brambles on the nose give way to a palate that is warming and creamy with mocha notes, nuts and light port aromas.
