Sea Lovers Gin is a distinctive and delicious contemporary gin that subtly marries marine ingredients with more traditional botanicals, conjuring the essence of the sea into your glass. The wild harvested North Island kelp gives a lovely umami complexity to the nose and serves as a counterpoint to the brightness of the lime and rosemary. The palate is full and crisp with the oyster shells bringing a sophisticated minerality. Serve with quality light tonic or soda, a sprig fresh rosemary and twist of lime.

This is a limited-edition Ardnamurchan from indie bottler Adelphi, matured in a pair of sherry casks for five years that were hand selected by Charles MacLean and Alex Bruce (hence the M&B). A fresh and clean dram with plenty of complexity where you will find notes of orchard fruit, lemongrass and honeysuckle giving way to stewed fruits and walnut - all complexed by subtle hints of peat.

Wakame arrived in New Zealand coastal waters on the hills of ships and thrived on our pristine rocky coastline. We of course now know it as a delicious culinary ingredient with many positive health benefits. Imagination is stoked to be able to gather wild wakame for this gin from the coast of Wellington and Wairarapa.

The initial aroma is juniper forward, fresh and sweet. When tasted you get the refreshingness of the citrus before fading to reveal the juniper in the background. A noticeable sweetness appears giving way to a sweet salt finish. A classic dry gin with a contemporary twist, transporting you to New Zealand's fresh and invigorating coastal waters.

To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Series, we first expertly matured our spirit in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels. Subsequently, the whisky underwent additional maturation for over two years in wine barriques skillfully sourced by Master Distiller Billy Walker, imparting a distinctive twist onto the unpeated GlenAllachie spirit.

These particular French oak barriques were procured from one of just five Premier Cru Classe chateaux located in the world-renowned wine region of Bordeaux, France. Top of the official Bordeaux wine classification, these estates are considered to produce wines of the highest quality and flavour. Maturation in casks which previously held such full-bodied red wine has imbibed our honeyed spirit with deep notes of black cherry and smooth espresso. The resulting golden malt delivers a truly refined yet complex drinking experience.

Sourced from two of the most prestigious distilleries in the world, our blend contains a 3-year old 100% Pot Still rum from the Worthy Park Distillery, Jamaica combined with a 5-year old 100% Column Still rum from the Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. 

The blend is versatile and balanced, designed to pair perfectly in your favourite rum cocktails. 

The flavour of Islay untamed

No more than 60 casks will make up each batch. Each cask is selected for the notes it will bring to the whisky. Each batch will have a unique code and shows the cask breakdown which enables the recipient, each year, to contrast, compare and explore the different notes that the wood and blending brings to this Islay Scotch Whisky. #01-2023 uses the cask selection to create layers of sweetness, zest intertwined with the classic smoke of Islay.

TASTING NOTES

Bursts of zesty citrus and black pepper, evolving to toasted bread, marmalade, and smoke. On the palate, it’s fresh with salt, lime, and spices, while the finish lingers with spice, smoke, and toffee-like richness.
