Named after Bernard Bernheim, one of two German immigrants who founded the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY in the 19th century, Bernheim Wheat Whiskey is distilled and produced by the esteemed Heaven Hill Distilleries company.Bernheim is bottled at 90 proof in a sophisticated, yet unassuming bottle, similar in shape to Woodford Reserve, sealed by a wax-covered cork, and packaged in a slim and attractive reusable box that will fit easily into your cabinet. Instead of the richer, bolder blush of whiskeys distilled from well, anything else, Bernheim?s exudes a light and airy honey color that is non-threatening, even inviting. To the eye, it is more similar to many Scotch or Irish whiskeys than what you may be accustomed to seeing in its American brethren.It has a warm, yet sweet aroma that is delicate without coming off as too wispy. One almost has to wonder at first glance if it will taste syrupy, as its texture seems to threaten, but will likely be pleased to find that it has a fruity, nutty flavor that seems to miss the tongue and leave the drinker wanting another taste right away. The year 1998 was an exceptional harvest year in Martinique.

This Saint James single cask was bottled in 2016, after 17 years of ageing. The casks used are either small Quercus Alba (American white oak) casks or second hand casks that have previously held Saint James.

After 10 years, 5 barrels were chosen from 28 by Marc Sassier, the Saint James oenologist, and Gilbert Bolinois, the cellar master. The selected rum was thus able to continue its ageing and offer this rare bottling.

Each bottle is numbered, and the cask number is mentioned on the label.

This blend is the fruit of generations of knowledge and a selection of the best vintages in the history of Saint James. This exceptional rum covers the entire aromatic palate of our aged vintages.

APPEARANCE: Bright mahogany.

NOSE: A very special Saint James with an unusual sweet fruity dominance (fig, dried date). The classic notes of very old Saint James follow on in the background with fine smooth notes of undergrowth, roasting (mocha) and spices.

PALATE: A lively woody attack which quickly becomes warm and rich. Dominant fruit which lingers on notes of fruit brandy (cherry, prune).

The Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton is up and running - hooray! This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Following this, they add a botanical selection including bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seed and Cotswolds lavender to their carter head still for distillation. To bring it down to bottling strength, a robust 46% ABV, they use naturally refined Cotswolds water.

Nose: Light, floral juniper blends well with the Cotswolds lavender. This soon gives way to the vibrant grapefruit peel and warming cardamom.

Palate: Opening with grapefruit, fresh juniper and black pepper, followed by herbaceous notes of bay leaf, coriander and angelica. More lavender brings a bright, delicate character to the full-bodied gin.

Finish: Refreshingly clean on the palate, with lime and bay leaf.

Aromas of fruit, baked fully-ripened agave, green olive, and earth are invitingly present. Slightly brighter and a touch more rustic than the regular Blanco, the accents of butter, olive, earth, black pepper, and vegetal qualities in the flavour are enhanced because it comes straight from our small copper pot still, without adding water prior to bottling.

For years, the only way to sample this was to visit our distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. Until now.

Named after the still in which it is made, Coffey Gin is produced by popular Japanese whisky brand Nikka. Eleven botanicals go are used, including amanatsu, yuzu and sansho pepper from Japan, alongside coriander, citrus peels and apple juice. As a large number of the botanicals are citrus fruits, the gin has multi-layered citrus notes and a zesty, long finish. Try it in a Negroni.

Koch Tobasiche is made with wild maguey Tobasiche that is matured 12 years before being harvested. It is made by Adrian Bautista in Rio de Ejutla. On the palate, it is sweet with strong notes of anise. Is also has hints of herbs and roots.

Carlos Moreno's family has been linked to mezcal since the beginning of the 20th century. In 2009, Carlos resumed the family tradition and teamed up with 5th generation maestro mezcalero Pedro Hernandez to create Koch El Mezcal de Oaxaca, with the goal of preserving and promoting mezcal culture. After 10 years of business, they've now integrated more than 15 communities and 50 producing families into their collective. Each batch will vary, so check your bottle for details.

Created in honour of Reefton legend little Biddy, a pipe-smoking, gin-toting, 4 foot tall gold prospector.  Our search for native botanicals takes us deep into the same West Coast rainforest where Biddy once fossicked for gold, to craft a uniquely New Zealand selection of small batch distilled gins with attitude.
