One of our most limited production items, Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye continues the legacy of America's first whiskey variety (rye) from America's first whiskey company (Michter's, originally known as Shenk's). After a nearly three year absence from the market, Master Distiller Willie Pratt finally gave the green light for the re-release of Michter's 10 Year Straight Rye in April 2014.

Deep notes of vanilla and toffee, toasted almonds and cinnamon with an ample dose of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus.

Michter's has accomplished something quite novel through its particular use of two different barrels to age the bourbon. For this one-time release, Michter's barrel ages its US*1 Bourbon as usual to full maturation and then transfers it for an additional period of time to a special custom made barrel for finishing. Constructed from wood staves that have been cured by 18 months of air-drying, this unique finishing barrel is toasted for a precise amount of time, but never charred like a typical bourbon barrel.

Tasting Profile: Campfire and cinnamon, with pecan and candied fruit. Lingering finish of baked pears, vanilla, and marshmallow.

Cuckoo Spiced Gin is made at the Brindle Distillery, which uses local raw materials as far as possible, and botanicals are from ethical and sustainable sources. The still (known as Maggie) is powered by biomass boilers, and byproducts are transformed into all kinds of animal feed or compost. What about the gin? If warming spices take your fancy, make space in your gin cabinet and get some Cuckoo in with haste. It's even made with Tellicherry black pepper, thought by some to be the finest the world has seen!

Tasting Notes: 

Gorgeous warming spices are pleasingly prominent on nose and palate – think: cinnamon, clove ginger and black peppercorns. Floral notes provide balance, with rose and jasmine most apparent. Try it with ginger beer!

Bombay Sapphire has followed up its English Estate with a marvellous special edition London dry gin inspired by delicate warmth and golden orange glow of the setting sun – appropriately titled Bombay Sapphire Sunset! This expression has been treated to an infusion of Indian white cardamom, turmeric, Murcian sun-dried mandarin peel, creating a softly spicy flavour profile highlighted by flashes of bittersweet citrus. Just the ticket for enjoying in a G&T while watching the sun set.

TASTING NOTE - Aromatic spiciness of cardamom and piney juniper, with wafts of floral angelica and fragrant turmeric sneaking in. Zesty orange builds along the way, remaining a constant feature of the flavour profile.

TASTING NOTES:
Aroma: Bright citrus at first with a noticeable but well integrated spicy oakiness. Less herbal than the silver.

With time the earthier notes come through and a definite roasted coffee note.
Palate: The wood sugars have played their part and have married beautifully with the warm orange and oak. Baking spices dominate the mid palate with a pleasing silky mouth feel. This develops into coffee, chocolate and generally ruminess that combine with wood tannins to give richness and structure. Pleasant lingering heat on finish.

APPEARANCE:
Light gold, similar to a Fino Sherry or an aged Chardonnay.

After 10 years of making whisky, Kavalan master blender Ian Chang wanted to try his hand at creating a gin. Staying true to the standard botanicals of juniper, aniseed and coriander, Chang also included a taste of Yilan?Kavalan's home? with kumquat peel, dried star fruit and red-flesh guava botanical extracts. The gin is double charcoal-filtered, triple distilled and bottled at 40% ABV.

Kavalan Gin opens up on very nutty and rooty notes, with angelica, almond, hazelnut paste, before juniper and aniseed get any say. It is chocolate-y almost. The palate makes way for a whisper of vanilla and honeysuckle, and it is slightly resinous with notes of kumquat and other citrus

The finger limes highlight the Asian spices like coriander and star anise, and are complemented by the fresh ginger. Then turmeric adds weight to the palate and a fresh but earthy quality, not unlike dill.

The resulting gin has lifted aromatics of lime curd, pine needles, and fragrant spices with a vanilla character which pulls it all together. The palate is intense - sweet and juicy - but it is still very clean.

Made by hand and using some of Taylor's original methods, this small batch bourbon whiskey has been aged inside warehouses constructed by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr over a century ago.  Barrels were routinely evaluated to identify those with the richest and most complex flavours.  A small batch of these select barrels was then blended together to deliver a distinctive character that is like no other.  It is a true sipping bourbon that honors the uncompromising Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr 

World famous product of "BELALCO" Distillery Company.  This original vodka is made from the finest quality and select grain, mild artesian water and the extract of Bison grass.  Taste is slightly burning with a pleasant hint of Bison grass.

Mirabelle (plum) Eau-de-Vie from the Massenez distillery stands out for its typicality, concentration, and balance.
In this eau-de-vie is easily found a note of almond, typical of stone fruits.
Its very fruity and persistent scent is a real invitation to tasting.

Created in 1912 by Edouard Martell, the bottle became a legend in the world of Cognac as middle range Cognac. A gentle giant. The Cognac's taste is dominated by eaux-de-vie from the Borderies area.

Tasting notes:

The color: Amber-bronze color
On the nose: Elegant aromas and flavours of cinnamon, flowers and wooden floral. Prune like, a bit of sweetness.
The taste: A rich yet supple entry, very round some sense of vanilla, spice and citrus peel. Dense dried fruit, nut, sweet spice, chocolate, deep copper chestnut aromas and some roasted nuts. The finish: a warm finish, some leather. Really solid.
