Like its basket mates, Wicker Basket Tropical Sour is all about fruit! This time, tangerine and pink guava mingle ever-so nicely. From its fluffy white head with lovely lacing to its juicy tangerine palate underpinned by ripe guava notes, it's delightfully tart and refreshing. Mission Estate Jewelstone Chardonnay is a pale straw coloured wine with complex aromatics of sweet stone fruit, marzipan and struck flint notes. The palate is full and fruit forward with a fine structure and a long clean finish.

Sauternes is the famous French dessert wine made from botrytised grapes (that's grapes that have essentially gone a bit mouldy in the vineyard and thus shrivelled up and become more concentrated and sweet). In wine it famously adds flavours of marmalade and this really does shine through on the nose and palate of this whisky. This expression is considered one of the best of the wood finish series from Glenmorangie.

AROMA
Tempted by the aromas wafting through the door of a French patisserie, you step inside to discover a tangy tarte au citron with its crisp pastry case and smooth lemony cream topping. Next to it is with its fluffy sponginess and milky vanilla aroma is a Genoise cake decorate with crystallised lime and orange peel. You can smell plump juicy sultanas, dates, warming ginger, coconut and nutmeg. In the background, gingerbread is baking in a wood-burning oven. Slip some water into the whisky to release the frothiness of lemon meringue pie and the rich aroma of baking fruitcake and warm gingerbread drizzled with crème anglaise

TASTE
The smooth, melting creaminess of lemon tart leaves the mouth full of citrus tang that gives way to crème caramel and zesty lime. This is replaced by warming ginger coupled with the mellow nutty flavours of nutmeg and toasted almonds that add warmth and chewiness that melts into oozing lemon meringue and melting honeycomb.

FINISH
Languid and sweet with lemon zest, vanilla cream and delicate hints of ginger and nutmeg

Saison Zest is the farmhouse ale made in the French speaking, Wallonian province of Belgium. Traditionally it was a refresher for tired and thirsty farm labourers. 

Saison Zest is a modern interpretation, a stronger full flavoured brew. Orange of hue with a big rocky head, aged for two months in the bottle. We've chosen a simple grain bill that showcases Gladfield's superb malts and added Orange Zest. Paired with floral and citrusy hops, our saison yeast imparts massive character and a dry finish. We believe Zest will refresh and sustain the farm worker or office shirker. Enjoy in moderation, it's stronger than it seems! Unfiltered and unpasteurised in the traditional manner, for full flavour. 

Serve at cellar temperature: 8- 12C in a goblet Organic Pilsner malt, candi sugar and orange zest, Crystal malts, hops, yeast water.

Ripe citrus aromas of navel orange and peach, a medley of nougat and vanilla notes to add to the complexity and interest on the nose. A silky attack with sweet fruit flavours of peach and navel orange in the rich textural mid palate and with hints of nougat and vanilla balanced with fine oak and lingering citrus finish. - Paritua ALCOHOL: 13.5%

An outstanding New Zealand Albarino with complex flavours of salty green olives, freshly picked Granny Smith apples and bright acidity, which adds a zesty note to the flavours of subtly savoury wine. It's rich and full bodied with mouthwatering crisp salivating acidity giving great balance, length and structure.

Light bronze in color with streaks of gold, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bears a complex aroma of vanilla, mint, and molasses. Its taste is pleasantly sweet and contains notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak and leather. The long and dry finish has significant depth. The Calvarino vineyard is in the heart of the Soave Classico zone and represents the core of the ancient family estate, bought at the beginning of 1900. The soil here dates back to the tertiary era and is rich in clay and tufaceous basalt which give the wine an attractive savoury, mineral quality. This is a dry, well-balanced and elegant wine which offers notes of citrus and white flowers along with a generous touch of acidity.

A thoughtful mix of nine botanicals, Fords Gin starts with a traditional base of juniper & coriander seed balanced by citrus, florals and spices. Steeped for 15 hours before distillation, the botanicals deliver an aromatic, fresh and floral spirit with elegant notes of jasmine and grapefruit that creates a versatile base for any gin-inspired cocktail.

Powerful, dry, lemony and richly full bodied. This is one of two exceptionally tasty, characterful Greek wines made from the Robola grape variety. These are exciting whites made entirely from the Robola, which grown mostly on the Ionian Islands in Greece, particularly Kefalonia (the fifth largest of all Greek islands), Zakynthos, Kerkyra (Corfu) and others. 

The best Robolas are full bodied wines with  naturally high acidity which provides beautiful balance. With aging, this wine will develop complex flavours of chamomile, caramelized pear, fresh almond and honey with a long aftertaste of mineral sage and celery.

Kefalonia is just south of the more famous island of Corfu to the west of the Pelopponese peninsula and the soils combined with the altitude (up to 900 metres above sea level) are diverse, resulting in a range of different styles of wines. 

About the Petrakopoulos winery

Petrakopoulos winery is located near to Thiramonas in the south of Kefalonia. Its grapes are grown on Mt Ainos and nearby and the winery is housed in a small villa, run by winemaker Kiki Siameli. 

This is an outstanding white and we also have a lower priced, exceptionally nice Robola, a younger sibling to this wine. 

100% Blue Weber, aged 7-9 years, from the rich clay soil of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

AROMA: Caramel with hints of cocoa.

FLAVOR: Notes of dried fruits and spicy oak with a touch of sweet agave.

AGED: 7 months in premium American white oak barrels.

A light ruby colour in the glass with gentle red berry and subtle earthy aromas on the nose. On the palate the wine is light with an elegant and refined mouthfeel and gentle red fruits flavours. Precise winemaking resulting in quality Pinot Noir.

Hendrick’s is something of a household name. Perhaps you've heard of it? This terrific Scottish gin is made using two different stills - the Bennett stillsteeps its botanicals overnight before distillation, while the Carter-Head has its botanicals in a basket up in the still neck, steaming them gently. It features the likes of juniper, cubeb berries, elderflower, chamomile, angelica, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander, yarrow and orris, alongside an infusion of cucumber and rose petal. If you're making a G&T with this, it just has to be garnished with a ribbon of cucumber.

Nose: Big, creamy aromas right off the bat, with a little zesty citrus, juniper, rose petal jelly and cucumber.

Palate: Astoundingly fresh notes of cucumber with juniper, oak, a touch more citrus and vanilla. Creamy and savoury.

Finish: A long, refreshing, floral finish.
