En Rama is a pure expression of dry sherry from Jerez. En Rama roughly translates to 'raw', which is exactly what this is. This wine is extracted from the barrels in Spring, when the flor is at it's thickest. This sherry is unfiltered and unfined. Best drunk fresh, En Rama tastes more intensely nutty and yeasty than the standard Tio Pepe. The palate is complex and fresh with a saline finish.

Intense pepper and exotic florals on the nose merge with vanilla-saturated plum, cherry and boysenberry - plump tannins and smooth succulence round out the finish.

Tasting Note: Shiny golden yellow colour. Ample ripe fruit aromas with typical floral notes of Moscatel grapes. Long and unctuous on the palate, leaving a pleasant, lingering dry finish with a hint of white florals.

Winemaking Notes: Harvested at night, when the grapes have reached optimum ripeness, enhancing their intense aroma. Low-temperature fermentation to preserve the individual aromas of each variety.

Pilsner

5.0% – 330ml

Our Pilsner is brewed with soft Waitakere water, German Pilsner malt and Motueka hops, then fermented with a classic Bavarian lager yeast. This Pilsner offers firm bitterness up front, followed by lemon/lime notes from the hops, and leading through to a refreshingly dry finish.

5.2% – 440ml

A blend of Pale Ale and Crystal malts, combined with generous quantities of choice kiwi and US hops provide dominant citrus and pine flavours, underpinned by more delicate floral and stonefruit aromas.

Forbidden Black Rice Lager

Forbidden – 5.3%

Occasionally dubbed “The Emperor’s Rice” or “Forbidden Rice”, this grain was reserved for only the richest of the aristocracy according to oral history.
Japanese researchers have analysed Black Rice and found that not only is it full of vitamin E – which boosts your immune system and supports skin and eye health – but it also has high traces of anthocyanin, which has anti-cancer properties.
While we aren’t doctors, that’s all we need to hear to raise a glass and proclaim a toast to good health and to you!

Pale golden colour with a foamy white head. Light biscuity malt notes carry the hops. A mix of American Citra and NZ Cascade hops give the beer a bright and vibrant citrus burst. Crisp and drinkable. Lower in alcohol than most IPAs.
