Emerson's Mein Helles Bock Can 440ml

Emerson's Mein Helles Bock is a strong pale lager that showcases clean, elegant, bready malt flavors, making it deceptively easy to drink. The Helles Bock style, also known as Maibock, is a relatively pale, strong, malty German lager with a nicely attenuated finish that enhances drinkability. It often features a more noticeable hop character compared to other bocks.

Before the sixties started swinging, mild mannered Brits liked nothing more than a Mild Ale. It was the nation's favourite beer style in a time of politeness, moderation and general niceness. Ducks in a Row is a throwback to these days. Classically malty, with soft toffee and caramel notes. Despite the modest 3.3% it also has a good body, thanks to the subtle addition of Golden Syrup. For years, Richard Emerson has had big plans to brew beers under the name Deafinition Unfortunately, these plans went off the rails. You see, Richard is easily side tracked. And the culprit is, almost always, trains. So, while he is off doing the locomotion, we’re brewing Deafinition beers for him. Chasing Trains is one of Richards favourite styles. A barley wine that’ll warm the palate, with fruity hoppiness, citrus and toffee flavours, and a wine like mouthfeel. Yes, it is a real trainspotters beer.
