Unit price perCap Corse Mattei is a wine-based aperitif developed from mistelles of Corsican grapes from the Muscat and Vermentino varieties. It is blended with macerations of cinchona peel, spices and exotic or local plants. Harvesting the grapes when they are fully ripe ensures an ideal balance between the fruit’s sugar and acidity, while a rigorous selection of raw materials ensures a top-quality product. Created by L.N. Mattei in 1872, this inimitable aperitif is available in two versions: Cap Mattei Rouge and Cap Mattei Blanc. Cap Course Rouge harmoniously blends sweet and bitter oranges for a rich, intense flavour.
Cocktail Recipe – Mattei Spritz
Fill the glass with ice cubes, add 1/3 Mattei Cap Corse (Red or White) and 2/3 sparkling Muscat. Mix lightly to avoid breaking the bubble. Finally, add a slice of orange for the Mattei Spritz Red or a slice of lemon for the Mattei Spritz White.

Unit price perFrom the historic Petrignone estate in Forlì’s Oriolo subzone, this Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva comes from very old vines planted in 1968 on clay–sand soils with pebbles. Harvested by hand at low yields, it is fermented in cement and steel at 28–30°C, with full malolactic conversion, then aged six months in second- and third-fill Allier tonneaux. Balsamic, saline and deeply expressive, it represents the archetype of Romagna Sangiovese, built for ageing and versatile with grilled meats or rich pasta dishes.

Michael Cooper, Jul 2025 (★★★★★)
The delicious 2024 vintage is the middle-tier Pinot Noir (above Moss Oaks and below Premium Reserve) from this producer at Opaki, in the northern Wairarapa. Deeply coloured, it is weighty and notably rich, with highly concentrated, well-ripened cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, showing excellent complexity, finely balanced tannins, and a lasting finish. Likely to be long-lived, it's well worth cellaring to 2029+

Unit price perThe IPA, or Indian Pale Ale, beer style was created in England in the 19th century. To ensure that the beer arrived in good condition at their overseas colonies in India, extra hops were added. IPA was born! Today, the rest of the world is also a fan of the bitterness and hoppy taste of a typical Indian Pale Ale. Sloeber IPA contains four types of hops: Magnum, Citra, Amarillo & Simcoe. The result? A refreshing, fruity and hoppy beer that nevertheless stays very accessible!
