 2nd place(tied) in this years NZ Stout Challenge, we brewed a milk stout that is layered with cacao and vanilla.  Ale, crystal, brown and chocolate malts form the malt base with lactose, cacao and vanilla added at the end of boil.  Lucious, smooth and moreish with a rich cacao and vanilla hit on the nose and in the mouth with just enough bitterness from the kettle additions of the English hop East Kent Golding to balance out the sweetness.

This German-style black lager was traditionally brewed and cold-lagered for extra smoothness.  Dark in colour with a light body, you’ll discover hints of chocolate and coffee from a small helping of roasted malts, and a delicate lashing of hops for a crisp finish. A richly aromatic expression of The Glendronach, presenting intertwined notes of peat smoke, with a dominance of Oloroso sherry casks for spiced complexity, enriched with our signature Pedro Ximénez casks.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Smouldering amber.

Nose: Cinnamon spiced toffee, apple and caramelised walnut brittle intertwine with flamed orange on a smouldering open fire.

Palate: Raisin and honeyed walnut meld with bramble ganache and smoked chocolate fudge.

Released as part of The Master's Anthology series from The Glendronach, this decadent single malt spent its time maturing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The vibrant amber hue is all-natural, and with a higher strength of 50.8% ABV, it's a rich and complex sipper, packed with generous layers of chocolate, coffee, raisins, caramel, and ganache.

Hazy brown colour with lasting but the collapsing white head. Aroma: Caramel, hazelnut, milk chocolate, biscuit and sweet matured cheese. With some time a resin-ish tone crawls in. Taste: Has a quite malty moderately sweet start with a very soft sourish tone and a pleasant bitter mouthfeel. Very well balanced. Has a soft creamy feel. Light/medium body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting sourish, lightly bitter finish.

Crystal-clear brilliance and lively sparkling carbonic acid are the outstanding features of Maisel's Weisse Kristall and make it a wonderfully exuberant refreshment. Due to the special composition of sun-ripened wheat varieties and brighter barley malts, fermented and aged with our special white yeast, unfolds at first sip a balanced bouquet of different fruit flavours of ripe banana to a slight citrus note, which mixes at departure with the typical, slightly spicy wheat beer flavour. A predicate for a particular quality.

Rothaus Pils is fermented from bottom-fermenting yeast that's been developed in-house, before maturing for roughly four weeks. During this period, its robust and elegant flavours and its high Rezenz are cultivated. Rezenz is the term for the refreshing feeling produced by the carbon dioxide in beer.

As Rothaus is unpasteurized, it comes with a shorter best-before date than pasteurised beers.

A delicious blend of Irish Whiskey, honeycomb and caramel flavours, slips down easy for a soft liquid welcome. The Dubliner has flavours of toffee, fudge, caramel and honey, with some vanilla and oak from the Whiskey. Served best with ice and orange zest - or simply mixed with cola or lemonade. But for some real decadence try it stirred with double cream or coconut cream, or sloshed over ice-cream.
