This is a clever and delicious ode to the grape that put New Zealand's wine industry on the map. It was made with a Nelson Sauvignon Blanc base wine, fortified with distilled Sauvignon, and sweetened with Sauvignon juice. And the botanicals enhance the variety’s character - fresh Nelson Sauvin hops, passionfruit, elderflower and citrus - all anchored to tradition with mugwort and wormwood. It’s a semi-sweet blanco style that drinks beautifully on ice, or as a playful addition to cocktails.

5% - Hoppy Pale Ale

Don’t get bent out of shape. Icky sticky Oregon Chinook and Strata, New Zealand grown Cascade and Citra from the Yakima Valley buddy up in a hopped up pale ale balancing biscuit and caramel malt character with juicy grapefruit bitterness, pine resin, pineapple sativa and tangy citrus. Now the penny’s dropped.

6.4% - Ruby Red IPA

We’re all at sea for this edition of our hop forward, tattoo inspired ‘Toughie Sticker’ series. Devil to Pay Red IPA. Chest loads of Chinook, Citra, Centennial and Amarillo hops and a carefully selected malt grist creates a luscious rubescent beer awash with pine resin and pink grapefruit. Get inked!

6.9% - Spontaneous Framboise Blend

An artful blend of 3 year old, 100% spontaneously fermented, oak puncheons, refermented on Wakefield raspberries grown in the Tapawera valley. The result is a stunningly colourful, beautifully balanced, intensely aromatic beer with delightful bright berry character and superb juicy acidity. The result of a lot of hard work, and a little chance, luck & magic.

7.2% - West Coast IPA

A spellbinding brew bursting with aromas of dank mango and resinous pine. Juicy mango sweetness casts the first enchantment before a citrus pith bitterness takes over, delivering a crisp, clean finish.

The witchcraft of a classic West Coast IPA, that's what! It seems like our spell's taking over you. Our beers like venom and once it sets in, you can’t get enough.

Bold enough to boast.
Gallus is our rich, full-bodied Scotch Ale, deep mahogany in the glass and seriously malt-driven. Layers of caramelised toffee, dark sugar and toasted bread unfold first, followed by warming notes of raisin, treacle and a whisper of smoke. A beer with backbone and just enough swagger to carry the name.

Her citrus predictions are pretty accurate. The divine Talia foresees that you will love this flavour. We have collaborated with Wonderland Chocolate to create our beery stout interpretation of their delicious orange chocolate made with cashew milk.

"Kirsch is not usually produced as a liqueur but as a stone fruit brandy. It can be produced using a variety of ingredients, including cherries, prunes, or plums. Slivovitz is comparable. The crushed kernels of the fruit are included with the fruit juice before fermentation as they infuse the brandy with a fine, bitter tang. Berentzen Kirsch liqueur is a sweeter version of the style, bottled for sale at relatively low alcoholic strength."
