For this years West Coast IPA Challenge the theme is musicals! We have based our entry on the musical Annie get your Gun!, which celebrates the life and achievements of Annie Oakley, the infamous gun toting, sharpshooting markswoman of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show! This beer features a light, crisp Pilsner base, with a touch of Vienna malt. Fermented with the classic US05 yeast, then generously hopped with the West Coast classics of Centennial, Citra and Mosaic. Bring on the citrus, tropical fruit and resinious pine aromatics coupled with some bold bitterness on the palate. Saddle up, giddy up, Yee Ha!

Racer 7 Hazy IPA is ripe and juicy, showcasing a modern blend of hops providing a fruity, hoppy aroma. Soft, malty oats and wheat give this crushable hazy a clean finish with minimal bitterness.

West Coast Story is our entry into this year's WCIPA Challenge at the Malthouse, where the theme takes inspiration from Broadway musicals.

Citra and Waimea are our main characters. Two hops who, although their origins are a world apart, can’t help to come together in perfect harmony, bringing vibrant flavours of citrus, pine and tropical fruit. 

Mosaic and Chinook play the supporting role to help bring it all home, alongside a base of Gladfield pilsner malt to ensure that our hops take centre stage.

The final act? A crisp, clean finish worthy of a standing ovation

Our award-winning interpretation of a Belgian-style wheat beer is brewed with oats, malted wheat, and raw wheat for a hazy “white” appearance. Spiced with our own special blend of coriander and Curaçao orange peel, Allagash White upholds the Belgian tradition of beers that are both complex and refreshing.

We use a combination of Nelson, Krush, Citra, and Sabro hops to create a fruit bomb with notes of pineapple, guava, and passionfruit, all wrapped up in unicorn pillowy mouthfeel. Our latest take on the now eponymous American IPA, Pacific Magic combines the straw coloration and crisp dry finish of a pilsner with the bitterness and aromatics of an aggressive West Coast Style IPA.  In the spirit of reaching for an icy bottle or a fresh pint at the end of a day spent trekking our rugged coast, our aim is total satisfaction: refreshment without sacrificing complex flavor.  Maybe it’s a trick of the light, but with a tilt of the glass Pacific Magic will make your thirst disappear.
