You can imagine it as a supercharged version of our Hefeweizen. Born Too Late was inspired by the pale Weizenbock brewed by the oldest continually operating brewery in the world and arguably the finest wheat beer producer. It has the banana and clove notes from the yeast, supported by malt sweetness. Hazy in appearance and pouring with a delicious creamy head of foam.

Unit price perThis beer started out as our traditional mixed fermentation Berliner Weisse style beer which undergoes a long secondary fermentation with Brett ‘wild’ yeast. We then added a whole lot of pineapple to the beer which builds upon the pineapple esters that the Brett already produces. The fruit sugars were fully fermented out to maintain the dryness of the base beer. Combined with a high carbonation level, this is a very spritzy and refreshing beer.
