Everyone loves an original. The original song, the original movie, the original sneakers, even. So, we’re bringing back a special limited edition original of our own — Pilsner. Or as it was originally called, Pride of the Plains. First brewed on 16 May 1995, with Saaz D hops (now known as Riwaka), our 2025 reboot has been inspired by the original single-hop recipe. It has the same bold fruit flavours, and notes of passionfruit and lime. Make the most of it, it might not be around again for another 30 years.

Chocoloato is chocolate milk for grown ups. While it might not be very family-friendly, it is extremely planet friendly, animal friendly, worker friendly and palate friendly. A smooth creamy stout, combined with delicious, Fair Trade, Otis Chocolate Oat Milk, to create the most velvety, rich beverage imaginable. It's basically your pudding in a pint glass. Enjoy before, during, or after dinner.

8.0% - Hardcore Doppelbock

The goat is back and this time he’s angry. Raise the Horns, hardcore Doppelbock. More malt, a cold ferment and extended ice conditioning creates a doom metal dark lager beer, rammed full of smooth dark fruit and chocolate intensity and finishing with a delicious touch of alcohol warmth. Let me see you throw those horns!

8.0% - Strawberry Oat Cream IPA

It’s a fruit filled, full cream trip in every sip. Pink Milk, strawberry Oat Cream IPA, brewed with a double dose of creamy lactose sugar, strawberry puree, dragonfruit, vanilla and careful blend of HBC1019, Galaxy, Luminosa and Sabro hops. Absurdly smooth and juicy sweet, balanced with strawberry, bubblegum, coconut and tropical fruit hops. Udderly delicious!

RED RYE IPA

Established 1854. By Felix Verscheure, greatgrandfather of Omer Vander Ghinste, in Kortrijk. Brasserie LeFort became part of the Brewery Omer Vander Ghinste in 1911. LeFort is a dark, complex ale with an intense taste. Refermented in the bottle.

7.8% - Black Rye & Pine Kveik IPA

Fill your drinking horn. Old Gods, black rye IPA, brewed with malted and crystal rye, fermented with Norwegian Voss Kveik yeast, hopped with Simcoe, Cascade, Citra and Chinook, and finished with a libation of pine terpene. Obsidian black, with bold bitterness, rye spice with a clean hop hit of citrus and pine resin. Skål!

This beer is a tribute to the Matron Saint of Emerson’s. Richard’s Mum, Ingrid. Without her belief, patience, and tolerance, Emerson’s Brewery wouldn’t be here today. So for the wise woman, is this Weissbier — her absolute favourite. It’s light and cloudy, with a sweet bready aroma, notes of banana and sherbet, and a tart, spicy flavour. Quiet, yet full of intrigue and backbone. Just like Ingrid.
