Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.

5.8% ABV.

North End - French winemakers use the world 'terroir' to describe the influence of the local environment on the wines that they make.  We have helped add a big dose of 'terroir' into this beer by taking our Saison and re-fermenting it in barres with a blend of wild yeasts from Waikanae.  The result is tangy, lightly tart and extremely fruity.

Acid Raindrops is our collection of weird and wonderful kettle sours which are always changing. These little flavour bombs are designed to quench your thirst, but also make you question what beer even is.

A New Zealand take on an old world classic. 

A crisp dry Larger nicely hopped up with floral notes of citrus and spice. Classic New Zealand hops give lots of spice and citrus with hints of tropical fruit.

7.8% - Sunny Belgian Blonde Ale

Take a walk on the sunny side of the street. Brightside Belgian style blonde ale. A deceptively simple blend of Pilsner, candy sugar, Saphir hops and a special yeast strain creates a distinctly complex and deliciously drinkable golden ale with restrained spice, floral notes and a hint of bubblegum. Always look on the bright side.

Parrot Dog - Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It’s matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt.

With a flourish we present a beer capturing all things for maximum joy, a convergence of hoppiness with a smidgen of magic-ness for juicy, hazy amplitude! A union of US Mosaic with NZ-grown Cascade, Riwaka & Pacifica in decadent alliance with Peacharine® SubZero Hop Kief® from Freestyle Hops, this beer booms with SoHem hop glory. It’s all punchy, sticky stone fruit with the tropical fruit bomb notes we know & love. Bitterness? Integrated. Crazy hazy? You bet. Like we said, we’re late to the party but just in time.

CHICAMA WEST COAST IPA 6.4%

Once keg-only. Now in 440ml cans.
Chicama West Coast IPA is a long cool wave of bright tropical notes balanced by a clean, punchy bitterness. Citrus, berries, stone fruit and fresh pine aromatics are upfront from the Riwaka, Mosaic Cryo and Simcoe Cryo hops, grounded by a sturdy malt backbone for body and depth of flavour.

Flavours: Little ABV doesn't mean little on our hop flavours. We are looking at BIG refreshing notes of mango, tropical fruits and citrus balanced with oats for a bit of body!

2.3% ALC./VOL.

Jam packed with Citra, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin, with only Whirlpool and Double Dry Hop additions, this Crazy Hazy has a rich body balanced with tropical Fruit Flavours of Pineapple, Mango and Passionfruit with a hint of Pine and a mild bitterness.

We're living in Crazy Hazy Days, it's time to get amongst it!

6.4% ABV.

Does what it says on the tin, mate! Everything you like from a hazy: full flavour, juicy, and all of those delicious tropical notes from dry hopping, without too much bitter.

Flavours: Quenching tropical fruits, citrus and lime zest from the US and NZ hops with solid body to match from Oats and Wheat.
