A blend of barrel aged one year old spontaneous beer, infused with the finest Mapua variety boysenberries, sourced directly from the growers at Eden Road. The finished beer is a stunning opulent purple, with a rich ripe berry aroma and a lush fruit palate.

Naturally brewed with real ginger for a refreshing, clean, crisp flavour with just the rightamount of ‘zing’.It’s the real deal.

5.2% - NZ Stout

Back in black. Iron Pig, New Zealand stout. Brewed using only the finest Canterbury malt and specially roasted barley, balanced with a shot of old school Green Bullet hops. Rich, satisfying, full flavoured stout with underlying notes of chocolate, coffee and toasted nuts. An instant classic.

4.6% - Crushable Extra Pale Ale

Step up. Lucky Devil XPA.  An extra pale malt base crammed full of Galaxy, Mosaic and Krush hops delivering clean bright balanced bitterness and juicy tropical fruit for a supremely crushable brew. Get lucky.

Delayed gratification can be hard work. Hellbender Barleywine, a beer this big only gets better with age, but holding back ain?t easy. Problem solved, we?ve aged it for you. Five years in bourbon oak barrels have created a beer of astounding complexity and depth. Well worth the wait.

6.2% - Fresh hopped hazy harvest IPA

Fresh hopped, hazy, harvest IPA. A juicy blend of Nelson Sauvin & Rakau hops, all picked on the same day at Freestyle hop farm, half of the harvest was rushed still wet from the field to the Garage and plunged straight into this beer, the other half was quickly dried and added to the fermenter. The result is a beer overflowing with lush citrus, resinous pine and tropical fruit. Just New Zealand grown hops at their harvest fresh best.

An exquisite trinity of three hand-selected casks, drawn from some of our oldest stocks and reduced to 52% abv.  This 700ml bottle comes in a beautiful oak frame.

Burnt toffee. Vanilla cream. Sun-scorched nectarine. Pepper.

Norse legend tells that at the end of days the great wolf Hati, son of Fenrir, will finally catch the Moon after a chase that has lasted eternity. Spoiler alert, it’s not going to end well. Black Rye IPA, fermented with Norwegian Kveik yeast and hopped with Columbus, Cascade, Citra, and Chinook. It’s a beer with a crisp bitter bite, wicked citrus and bright resinous pine. Best Before Ragnarok.

7.8% - Blonde Rye IPA

Blonde Rye IPA, fermented with Norwegian Kviek yeast and hopped with Columbus, Mosaic, Krush and Simcoe. It’s a beer with a crisp bitter bite, racy tropical fruit and mouthwatering citrus. Best Before Ragnarok.

4.5% - Earl Grey & Vanilla Milk Porter

Put the kettle on. Traditional London Porter with a twist, brewed with ale, crystal, oats, chocolate and black malts, topped up with an extra helping of milk sugar and then infused with Earl Grey tea and vanilla. Smooth, creamy milk and malt sweetness, melded with earthy tea, citrus bergamot and vanilla. Pinkies up.

Tasting notes
A showcase of Kiwi ingredients; Pilsner, Carapils, Munich and medium Crystal - all barley grown and malted in New Zealand, and they all bring a little bit more colour and body to this beer. The hops in this are NZ heavy-hitters Motueka and Nelson Sauvin, with a little bit of Mosaic as a support. The aroma is massive intense citrus, passionfruit, and the flavour is the perfect balance of malt-body sweetness and punchy bitterness.

4.2% - Wild Thyme Honey Sour

From the hive mind of the Wild Workshop, we bring you Tremble Dance. Wild Thyme honey and foeder aged mixed ferment beer, blended to create a mind bendingly complex mix of delicious sweet and sour flavours with unique floral aromatics. It’s buzzy beer.

6.8% - New Zealand IPA

It’s the pick of the crop. New Zealand IPA, brewed with Southern Cross, NZ Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Waimea in a clean golden malt base, for a beer blazing with bold bright bitterness, mouthwatering citrus, juicy tropical fruit and rich hop resin. A cut above the rest.
