Del Maguey brings you a collection of Single Village Mezcal made in the lush, remote mountains, plains and valleys of Oaxaca, Mexico.  Each Mezcal is named for the village where it is made.

Chichicapa has a medium nose and a complex taste with lots of citrus and a long, smooth finish with overtones of mint.  The pueblo is in a broad open valley with a desert and tropical microclimate.

Del Maguey mezcals are twice distilled and unblended from 100% mature agave Espadin and are produced the original, 500-year old Artisanal, hand-crafted way.  Production is limited to exclusive quantities per year to preserve quality.  There are no chemicals, colorings or additives ever used in any Del Maguey, Single Village Mezcal.

Don Papa Baroko is made on the island of Negros in the Philippines. It is the result of a blend with old rum distilled from molasses, known locally as "black gold" black gold, which comes from one of the many local mills on the island.

Don Papa Baroko has aged for several years in American oak barrels. The Master Blender then selects the most expressive casks, those which best reveal the fruity and vanilla notes.

During his time in Scotland, Charles Edward Stuart would carry with him a mysterious draught, from which he would drink a few drops every day. Nobody knew for certain what this formula was; only that it had been created by the Royal Apothecary. The apothecary would have imbued the drink with protective properties. He must have chosen Cloves - a dried flower bud of an Indonesian tree. This aromatic spice is still used for its powerful analgesic properties. Only the most prized spices would have been used. Many are convinced that saffron was the main ingredient. Not only was it renowned for its medical and sedative properties, but it would also have given the drink its rich golden colour. Taste: Warm spices of cinnamon & nutmeg with rich vanilla.  A long dry finish balanced with a subdued sweetness and a hint of burnt toffee Adding spices to rum is an old sailor's tradition.  Those first rums were crude and harsh, so seamen would blend and mix in any spices they had on hand to improve the rum's flavor.  Today the harshness is no more, but the art of spicing rum is alive and well.

Cocktail aficionados prize the St-Germain elderflower liqueur for its unique delicacy and subtlety and how it contributes a most refreshing piquancy to a well-designed aperitif. There is no other liqueur like it, being made from freshly hand-picked elderflower blossoms, from the foothills in the Alps, picked over the course of three or four days when the plant is in bloom. It is a truly artisan product, as less than 50 pickers are employed, who must quickly deliver the harvest to local market for delivery to the St-Germain distillery. Now, you would not see Polish men wandering the hills gathering wild potatoes for a special vodka, would you?.
