We put liquor in a large barrel and add American roasted and toasted oak flakes. After 3 weeks this mixture is ready to be added to the beer in the bright beer tank. This way we obtain a maximum performance of the used liquor strengthened with the taste of the used oak flakes to enrich our beer.

Broeder Jacob Brown Ale is a surprisingly dry, dark beer. It has a complex taste palette where malt and hops are the principal tones withoutever being dominating due to its long maturation and refermentation in the bottle. Broeder Jacob Brown Ale has a chocolate-malty feeling on the palate, a creamy, rich head and a strong aftertaste with a slightly bitter tone.

This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness. All these features make it an excellent and very drinkable beer.

The “Witteke” is a typical beer from the past made by farm-based breweries.

The craft brewers used the best ingredients from their own harvest. Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the presence of wheat (40%) and intense aromatics due to the addition of coriander and dried orange peel.

You will note its freshness and refinement upon tasting, typical for this extraordinary white beer. The brewing method, which includes the gradual addition of hot water, takes a long time.

Just like all the other beers produced by Lefebvre, this beer is not filtered. If served correctly, it produces a cloudy beer with a white head

This golden ale has a dense white head that invites you to lean in and discover the fragrance of green aromatic hops, yeast and mild fruity notes. The Gulden Draak Imperial Stout is a dark brown to black-colored beer and is the heaviest beer in the Gulden Draak range with its 12° alcohol percentage volume. The typical roasted taste is obtained by adding roasted, caramelized malt that is used exclusively for this. It is a very well-balanced heavy beer.

The aftertaste is rich and powerful. When tasting this specialty beer you discover aromas of banana and chocolate. The secondary fermentation works beautifully and will perfectly balance the higher alcohols.
