Get your umlauts out! Röck Döts, kölsch. Brilliantly pale gold ale, brewed in the traditional Köln style, with crisp, sweet malt, balanced to Germanic precision with the delicate noble hop notes of Tettnanger & Saphir. Cleaner than a Mötley Crüe member, fresh out of rehab. Röck ön!

7.9% - Apricot Infused Blended Sour

A blend of barrel aged spontaneous beer, infused with sun ripened Clutha Gold apricots from the Webb Family's 100 year old orchard outside Cromwell. The finished beer is a radiant gold, with an astonishing ripe apricot aroma and a juicy tart stone fruit palate.

8.2% - Boysenberry infused spontaneous sour ale

A blend of barrel aged one year old spontaneous beer, infused with the finest Mapua variety boysenberries, sourced directly from the growers at Eden Road. The finished beer is a stunning opulent purple, with a rich ripe berry aroma and a lush fruit palate.

Bottle conditioned. Serve chilled. Pour carefully.

7.0% - Red Ruby Kiwifruit Sour

A blend of carefully selected puncheons of our spontaneously fermented coolship ale, conditioned on ripe Ruby Red Kiwifruit, sourced directly from Glenview Orchard, Ng?hinap?uri. The result is a luscious vibrant candy pink beer with a delightful zesty aroma and sweet tart palate.

Spicy Cucumber Dill Pickle Sour

We’re turning up the heat, and doubling down on dill. Say hello to Spicy Pickle Beer! A cucumber dill pickle sour, with a fiery twist.

Naturally kettle soured, infused with cucumber, dill, pickle spice and fired up with a generous mouthwatering addition of red hot chilli peppers.

Spicy, refreshing and disarmingly delicious. Crack a can and dial up the heat!

6.0% - California Comet Pilsner

Back in a blaze of glory. Sungrazer - crisp, dry hopped Cali Pils, made with OG American hop variety, Comet. All but forgotten, this hop’s spent years in the lonely obscurity of space, only to blast into orbit again with intense white grapefruit, mandarin, bright pineapple and juicy apricot. Look who’s back!

Home & Away: A series of re-brews bringing some of our funnest overseas collaborations back to the Garage. 
For this release we bring you Sunrise Valley: originally brewed in Canton, Massachusetts with East Coast brewing legends Trillium, using a radical hop-free boil, and a massive dry hop addition of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin and Rakau hops. Brinigng home the goodness.

Surrender to the Void, an irregular series of outrageously decadent pitch black stouts brewed using an enormous, complex malt bill and mounds of debaucherous adjuncts. What’s The Void up to this time? Cherry, chocolate and coconut - well that does sound lovely, but don’t you think it rather a lot? What do you mean you're only getting started! Oh Void, have you no restraint!

Surrender to the Void, an outrageously decadent pitch black stout brewed using an enormous, complex malt bill and mounds of debaucherous adjuncts. What’s the Void up to now? Goodness, what a lot of cacao nibs and vanilla pods!? Are you sure you need all that? And what’s that? Peppermint candy!? ALL the peppermint candy! Oh Void, have you no restraint!

Swifty is named after the Swiftburn stream that flows through Royalburn Station in the South Island's high country, where our spray-free barley is grown. Brewed by the good folks at Garage Project, this is a Refreshing Beer. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking classic ale. You beauty.

You can have too much of a good thing. London, October 17, 1814, one of the Horse Shoe Brewery’s massive beer vats collapses releasing over half a million litres of porter, demolishing nearby buildings and killing eight people - their causes of death variously described as drowning or drunkenness. The Great Deluge, brewed with barley, oats, roasted wheat and East Kent Goldings, then aged in oak barrels for over a year with brettanomyces and lactobacilli creating a throwback style porter with dark chocolate and coffee notes and a restrained tart twist. Enjoy in moderation.

Sour Porter - 13% ABV.

7.7% - Norwegian Farmhouse

It's a tricky business, getting into drinking competitions with giants. Expect the unexpected. Thor's Cup, inspired by the traditional farmhouse ale that has been made in Norway for centuries, using Kveik yeast (pronounced kwike in English). Brewed using fresh juniper branches in the mash and a touch of beech smoked malt, this beer's unique flavour comes from two mixed Kveik cultures collected from traditional brewers in Voss and Hornindal, and brought back to New Zealand. Dark malts vie with tart yeast driven complexity and subtle hints of smoke and resin in a beer that can truly claim to be unique. Drink deep from the cup, but keep your wits about you.

Big things sometimes come in little packages. Say hi to Tiny: Brewed with pilsner malt, golden naked oats, Mosaic, Strata and Simcoe, Tiny is specially fermented to give you all the big, juicy hop character you've come to expect from a Hazy IPA - just without the alcohol. Yup that's right. Big flavour, without the booze so you can enjoy your hazy anytime. Tiny, but mighty.
