Emerson's Crickets Hazy Pale Ale Can 330ml

Wash down your huhu grubs, pickled worms, and mountain oysters with a refreshing can of Crickets. This hazy pale ale was created especially for the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival, using cricket flour, made by crushing the insects. The wild, high protein supplement helps increase the haze and body of the brew. But you will be relieved to know it just tastes like beer with delicious peach, passionfruit, and lemon notes. You won't like Crickets, you will love it.

Our IPA is crisp and fruity with honey and citrus undertones. More English than American in style, Stoke IPA is tank-conditioned over four weeks to enhance the smooth, caramel sweetness. It is light but a step up in hop intensity from our Pilsner.

Our citrus pale ale is approachable, moreish, and hauntingly good on any occasion. Originally brewed as a Halloween seasonal, interest lingered, like its lemony flavours, and it is now our best-selling beer. In the foggy past, patrons of The Bell Inn, our 600-year-old pub in Walberswick, told tall tales of ghostly ships that haunted the shore. The seeds of these stories were likely sown by smugglers trying to scare people away, but they later became the inspiration for everyone’s favourite eerie brew.

THE PEACEFUL SEA AMERICAN PALE ALE

The Peaceful Sea American Pale Ale is yet another gorgeous beer for the good times ahead. Generously hopped with Loral & Cascade for big, dank citrus-driven aromas backed by soft, bready malt on the palate. Finish is bitter-yet-balanced & easy-drinking. 

Astryd is light, fresh and fruity. This juicy pale ale is overflowing with tropical fruit/ flavours and aromas from start to finish, with a delicate hop bitterness for balance.

ABV 3.8% / 500ml bottle

Charm Quark is an unfiltered extra pale ale made with Idaho7 and Zythos hops. Softy biscuit malts and citrusy and floral hops round out this exceptional beer. It is refreshing and very drinkable!
